Amazing amazing amazing! Absolutely fantastic BBQ. Best in DC. The services was quick and great, the vibe is solid. Music is great! Had the Jive Turkey. Highly recommend.
Just ate here and it was pretty solid. They give you a lot of food so definitely bring your appetite. I'd recommend the sample platter to try as many different meats as possible. The brisket and chicken were delicious :) Avoid the coleslaw and potato salad though as it's just too heavy and not enough flavor. The price is a little steep though and I don't believe it should cost $25 for a good bbq. But if you have the $$ or want to treat yourself, I'd say go for it.
Ordered burnt ends and pork ribs - nothing burnt about the ends, big chunks, tender cuts of meat nothing burnt, nothing fat, nothing crispy, or smokey. When I order ribs I don't expect to leave so much on the bone. I was fighting to get the meat off. Service was quick and sides were decent.

Average barbecue experience, though my expectations are elevated having tasted St. Louis style and Texas BBQ. I sampled the burnt ends and jalapeño sausage alongside green beans. The burnt ends leaned toward dryness, lacking the anticipated fattiness. The jalapeño sausage was rather ordinary, not particularly impressive. I'm inclined to give them another chance, considering I visited near closing time - perhaps next time I'll encounter a more succulent batch of burnt ends. I didn't get a chance to try the BBQ sauce during m... read more

Surprised to see I'd never left them a review. Have been eating here for years - big fan of the pulled pork, the ribs, and their smoked turkey. The Brussels sprouts side is a huge hit with my family and we are at a point where everyone gets their own portion because it goes so fast. Their brisket is often quite good, but slightly less consistent than some of their other meats. Have always had good service on my visits.
Came for lunch with a co-worker. The place was clean and had the great aroma of slow cooked meats. I ordered pull pork and added a tiny bit of their bbq sauces. Really enjoyed it. They have plenty of options and platters for everyone. The ordering was easy and they call your name or send you a text message when your food is ready, so there is no table service. Overall if you are a bbq fan (I sure am) this is a great spot to check out.
Went with a friend and it was delicious! A little expensive, but you get sooo much food! I love that its a sit down restaurant with servers but has a bit of a casual vibe to it. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was perfectly chewy and creamy, I highly recommend! The fries were good and I love a place that doesn't skimp out on the pickles! Perfectly for meat lovers:)
Love this place! Staff are always friendly and the food is always amazing. Inside is very casual and seating is first come first serve and it can get pretty busy, but in my experience the turnaround time for a table to free up is pretty quick. I know DC isn't really known for their barbecue, but this place just may change that!
There food was good. I would buy again. A little pricey but everything is going up these days.
