If you are in DC or anyplace close and want some unforgettable BBQ, then this is your place. The menu has something for every barbecue lover. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were a party of three. Everyone got a different sandwich. We also got the Mac&Cheese, loaded fries(OMG sooooo good) and the chips and queso. I was craving bbq and I decided to stop by the federalist pie and it was the only place that was open and nearby at the time. I opted for their Dino rib entree with their baked beans and crispy brussel sprouts as my sides. The rib was enormous and definitely enough for two high schoolers or one greedy person. Food is phenomenal. However, my review is based on the customer service. First time I went, I was paying for dinner and my friend, who ordered only a sandwich, was asked to confirm what meat she wanted on her sandwich and her side. Got our food and turns out they charged us for a separate meat and side. I didn't think anything of it and decided to eat the extra food as leftovers. This is the best barbecue I've had in DC so far. The two step combo platter is plenty for two people. My wife and I each got one and had leftovers for a few days. The brisket was the best I've had and the pulled pork shoulder and ribs are good as well. What sets Federalist Pig apart from other DC joints is their sides aren't an afterthought. Federalist Pig is one of the better BBQ spots in the DC area. I went recently with a big group of friends for lunch. They have large wooden benches to accommodate groups but it's not the most comfortable. Service was quick, everyone had their food within 20 mins for 10 people. I tried their 1/3 ib Brisket and Pulled Pork sandwich. They were delicious. They have six different bbq sauces to add to your food, but the sauce is a watery textured which I didn't like. I didn't realize Federalist Pig actually had a vegetarian option. This was out of this world. Definitely one of the best meals out we have had in a while.

Really good food! Had the club, amazing! Pit master for two was a lot of food, nice selection. Causual dinning for after the zoo.

Oh my goodness!! Saw this place on yelp, decided to try it. Does NOT disappoint!! Got the sampler platter. You pick 3 meats and 2 sides. We got brisket, chicken, and ribs with the side of fries and crispy Brussels sprouts. It was Devine. Brisket soft and tender so juicy. Sprouts nice and crispy crunchy. Fries oh so good!! BBQ chicken juicy and so tasty. Ribs yum!!! I say run don't walk here.

Amazing amazing amazing! Absolutely fantastic BBQ. Best in DC. The services was quick and great, the vibe is solid. Music is great! Had the Jive Turkey. Highly recommend.
