Brett and his team were amazing. We needed to close a home loan in 21 days (calendar, not business) with some tough restrictions and they got it done in time. Other companies wouldn't agree to work with us because of timing - they didn't think that it could get done in time. I wanted to take advantage of the historically low rates and contacted Brett after seeing him advertise the lowest rates on Zillow. I thought it was too good to be true and was also dreading the experience of getting a new loan but Brett pulled through, made it relatively painless and quick and I got a stellar rate. I was going to take the 2.875% with costs but calculated that slightly higher rate with lower costs made more sense. All in all, it was faster and easier than my original mortgage. Highly recommended. Great guy.

Brett was great to work with. He simplified the loan application by focusing on the required info only. By doing so, he omitted superfluous information that might lengthen the approval requirements from the underwriter. He also got me a fantastic rate, 15 yrs at 3.25%. Brett followed up with every question and provided several options. He was patient in allowing me to consider several options and gave his recommendations without being pushing for a sale. In addition, my loan required some additional leg work because my company recently went through an acquisition and was known another new names with merging of retirement plans and other issues. I checked with at least half a dozen potential lenders and Brett had the lowest rates by far. In addition, he was able to recommend a number of different loan programs that were available, many of which were customizable to my specific needs. Because I had an existing HELOC and wanted to keep it (very low rate) he was able to work with me and my credit union which held my current mortgage and HELOC. Overall, painless process and I would certainly work with him again. Thanks!

Brett has now done two refinance loans for me. It has been a great experience both times. He has a very professional staff. Both loads closed within three weeks of starting them. Brett has always been a man of his word and made sure the loans were done correctly. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

My experience with Brett was excellent. The mortgage loan interest rate was very competitive, all correspondence was very timely, and all questions were answered very promptly. The First Mortgage of Utah staff handled the document flow with expedience and the closing took place in less than 30 days. Would definitely recommend. Some of Brett's lenders have very tough u/w standards but give extraordinary rates. Be prepared for the process and hassle. Brett is great at shepherding, but don't underestimate the ridiculousness of the process.
