We decided to take the plunge and buy our first house this year. One of the major issues we were afraid of was finding someone to do our mortgage (because we had no experience going through the process). I didn't choose this lending company- they ended up being a last minute backup due to seller not willing to work with my preferred lender. Because of this, I didn't get a lot of one on one time or information before closing. Once we had worked through some of the kinks, they did a great job keeping me updated and working with me.

Working through any mortgage can be a daunting process. Aside from submitting some duplicate paperwork, it was a great experience. Everything was done quickly, most of it over email. The closing took less than an hour and they gave me a nice housewarming gift.
