I bring my 3 year old German Shepherd and my 4 month old sheppit in here for everything and the staff is always pleasant. My dogs got sprayed by a skunk Wednesday night and Thursday morning sandy (I think that's her name) was happy to squeeze them into her day! She always takes great care of them. Then today both dogs had check ups and kayleen (not sure about her name either) and the rest of the staff, including the doctor were great. I was a veterinary technician many years ago so I am pretty picky when it comes to veterinary care for my pets. We just moved to Cameron Park and needed a vet for our recently adopted greyhound. It is the first time I have had to go to a vet I wasn't personally friends with so it was a big step! I took my cocker spaniel to get groomed this week and she did an amazing job! My Riley is not an easy dog to groom, she definitely does everything she can to make it as difficult as possible, however she got a great report card back from the groomer and is probably one of her best grooms ever!
I've been to this hospital probably a good 8 times since July. #1. I love that they accept the Care credit card and can split payment methods! SUPER HELPFUL. #2. My 2 pitties are never treated like vicious dogs and are always welcome personally. They are scaredy cats so when the staff doesnt get mad or guilt me about them peeing or pooping out of being nervous...it feels good knowing they aren't judged in any way. My 96 pounds of K9 wreaking ball Boris and I visited their Open House this Saturday. It was Incredible. I have had both my dogs at this Amazing Hospital. The Wonderful Dr. Barnes and his staff are the most compassionate, caring, understanding people I've ever had the pleasure to know here in El Dorado County. If you want your Fur Babies treated like Family this is the ONLY Veterinarian Hospital to go to. We love Goldorado. We've taken our Labradoodle here for the past couple of years for both health care and boarding when we go out of town and can't take him. We also take him here for grooming. All of these services have been top-notch, and we are pleased with this clinic. We give it our highest recommendation!
Love these guys! They are amazing with our pit bull and he loves going! Just plops himself on the floor like he's at home.
No way to make our experience better than perfect - Dr Barnes has treated our friend's dog when amazing patience - and when we had an emergency this last Monday - got our cat with eye injury in ASAP - saved the eye, and cleared up so many issues the feral that adopted us came along with - We will be transfering all our pets to the care of Goldorado - Heartfelt thanks so all the staff - they are all gems!
