I couldn't be happier with my experience, my cats treatment and the staff and Dr. Prince. My 3 years old cat had been missing for a few days and finally came home with a slightly healed terrible wound. I was a crying mess, they got me in immediately and recommended a surgical procedure so he would be ok. They were very considerate of finances and what needed to be done for the surgery and what could wait until a later time. Dr. Barnes, Dr. Prince and their superb staff have been terrific to work with over the last 20 years. We've relocated to St. Louis and wanted to give a shout out prior to our departure. Going through the ups and downs of a loved one's ailments and the respective costs is traumatic and tough. Oh my goodness, this place! My boyfriend and I have a 1 year old blue nose pit. Having children may never happen for us so needless to say Raider is our fur-child. I have always felt the same feeling walking into a vet as I have a dentist... You know a panic attack. Well, the day of his x-rays I tried holding it together....that lasted about 5 minutes. I had to put dog of 13 years to sleep. Cupcake was her name and the staff was great with her and I. but something that was completely unexpected happened today I opened the mail and there was a framed paw print from cupcake and a beutiful saying. Thank you for not just putting her down but showing me that you care and understand what it takes to put your pet to rest.

Everyone in my family trusts Goldorado with their pets. They are so sweet and knowledgeable. All of the vets take their time to answer questions and thoroughly check out your loved one. Though they are a little pricey, the care your animals receive is worth every penny.

We were traveling in our RV when our dog became ill with severe diarrhea. After settling into our campground in Shingle Springs, we saw the Goldorado Animal Hospital when we went for groceries. We took down their phone number and then called when we returned back to RV. They were kind enough to squeeze us in that afternoon. Everyone in the front office was friendly and caring. I feel very fortunate to have found THE BEST veterinary hospital in Cameron Park. Dr. Prince and staff is wonderful. Very caring and thoughtful. Taking time to listen to my concerns. My little Beagle is my sweetheart and they cared about her as if she were their only patient. I received a call day after visit to find how Molly was doing. Very thoughtful. I would recommend Goldorado Animal Hospital without hesitation. Once you visit Goldorado, you won't take your pet(s) anywhere else.

I went up to El Dorado Hills last week to visit my mom and took my two kittens along for the ride. They were just old enough to spay so she suggested I take them to her vet at Goldorado Animal Hospital. I was a bit nervous because I was only going to be there for a week and was not sure the kittens would be healed enough to travel back home. Friendly staff. Felt like we got a thorough exam and help for our cat. Also appreciated the doctor calling later to check on how he was doing. We visited another vet in the area previously, and liked this clinic much better.
