Everyone in my family trusts Goldorado with their pets. They are so sweet and knowledgeable. All of the vets take their time to answer questions and thoroughly check out your loved one. Though they are a little pricey, the care your animals receive is worth every penny.

I feel very fortunate to have found THE BEST veterinary hospital in Cameron Park. Dr. Prince and staff is wonderful. Very caring and thoughtful. Taking time to listen to my concerns. My little Beagle is my sweetheart and they cared about her as if she were their only patient. I received a call day after visit to find how Molly was doing. Very thoughtful. I would recommend Goldorado Animal Hospital without hesitation. Once you visit Goldorado, you won't take your pet(s) anywhere else.
I went up to El Dorado Hills last week to visit my mom and took my two kittens along for the ride. They were just old enough to spay so she suggested I take them to her vet at Goldorado Animal Hospital. I was a bit nervous because I was only going to be there for a week and was not sure the kittens would be healed enough to travel back home. Friendly staff. Felt like we got a thorough exam and help for our cat. Also appreciated the doctor calling later to check on how he was doing. We visited another vet in the area previously, and liked this clinic much better.
I was frazzled !! I had taken my 9 yr old Chihuahua to my long time vet with serious symptoms of not urinating. We had been told a few yrs ago that he had kidney stones and that we should get them removed, that he "could have an emergency and get blocked ORRR, he could live with them forever with no problems. The surgery was pretty expensive, so we decided to try living with them... Well last week it happened, he could not urinate for a day and a half. We have been clients of Goldorado Animal Hospital for over 15 years and love them! Dr. Barnes has always treated our pets and our family with care and compassion! We have had dogs and cats and have loved the care and thoroughness Dr. Barnes and his staff have provided. Have over 15 years with these folks and they are excellent. Dr. Barnes is an amazing Vet with a great passion and love for the animals he treats. His surgical skills are top-notch. The staff is first rate and really care about the animals they treat.
We moved here one year ago and took our two dogs to this vet for their periodic checkups. The vet was caring and was very gentle with our dogs. They were given their vaccinations and we have never had a problem . One day we noticed that our black cockapoo had terrible breath and seemed to have trouble eating. We took her in while getting a check up and we requested that they clean her teeth in the process they found that she had 7 teeth that had to be removed. This is the best vet/groomer! I feel so good when I drop my baby girl off here. I rescued a shih tzu puppy 2 years ago and from day one I've taken her here. I picked this vet because I know a lady that has worked here for at least 12+ years and to me that is a fantastic sign because I know personally that she would never work at a place that miss treated animals.
