We have been clients of Goldorado Animal Hospital for over 15 years and love them! Dr. Barnes has always treated our pets and our family with care and compassion! We have had dogs and cats and have loved the care and thoroughness Dr. Barnes and his staff have provided. Two of our pets have had special needs in terms of allergic reactions to immunizations and Dr. Barnes has met us at his office during the night to care for them and has always been careful to be aware of their needs when we visit the office. Have over 15 years with these folks and they are excellent. Dr. Barnes is an amazing Vet with a great passion and love for the animals he treats. His surgical skills are top-notch. The staff is first rate and really care about the animals they treat.
We moved here one year ago and took our two dogs to this vet for their periodic checkups. The vet was caring and was very gentle with our dogs. They were given their vaccinations and we have never had a problem . One day we noticed that our black cockapoo had terrible breath and seemed to have trouble eating. We took her in while getting a check up and we requested that they clean her teeth in the process they found that she had 7 teeth that had to be removed. This is the best vet/groomer! I feel so good when I drop my baby girl off here. I rescued a shih tzu puppy 2 years ago and from day one I've taken her here. I picked this vet because I know a lady that has worked here for at least 12+ years and to me that is a fantastic sign because I know personally that she would never work at a place that miss treated animals. Dr. David Barnes and his staff are absolutely the best! The facilities are sparkling clean and the staff professional and well organized. Our appointments for our Bella there are always on time and Dr. Barnes reminds us when she is due for her health maintenance examinations and injections. We have had our pets cared for by Dr. Barnes for over 25 years and you can not find a better veterinarian nor support staff. This is the best animal hospital in the area, They are friendly, caring, helpful and know what they are doing. I have a golden and a lab, and anytime I have questions or need anything Dr. Barnes and staff are always knowledgeable and willing to help. They are honest and dependable. The BEST. Our family has been going to Dr. Barnes and Goldorado Animal Hospital for over 20 years. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and how warm and helpful they ALL are. If you care about your pet, you need to check these folks out. They are a wonderful clinic and took great care of our beloved Leo for over 10 years. Read the unfiltered reviews - they are all 5 star and people actually leave their real names! I don't know why Yelp decided to only show the poor ratings. I know that bringing your pet into the vet can be a very emotional experience. Most of us wait until something is wrong before trying to find a vet and simply have to use whoever is closest.
