These people are the best! Dr. Barnes and his team are all just tremendous. They always take such great care of my little Leo. They're so easy to communicate with over the phone and every time we go the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I've been to veterinarians in the past who don't seem to care about the animals, or don't take the time in getting to know me as the customer, but this office seems to really enjoy what they do. Not to mention the beautiful remodel is clean and updated, which is always a bonus.

Best bunny vet ever. Dr. Barnes has done major surgery on 2 of our rabbits. Both bunnies survived like nothing ever happened to them. If you have a rabbit that needs care, take them here.

Dr. Barnes and his Staff have been taking care of my dogs over 20 years. The care is always professional and thorough, from basic check-ups, major surgeries and the time to say good bye to your loyal friend and family member. Now my two current dogs are getting older and if I ever need to leave town, its always reassuring to know Goldorado is there when I need to board them. We just moved to Cameron Park and had to find a new vet. We had somewhat an urgent situation called several places and Goldorado was the only one able to get us in. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We seen both vets and both are very friendly, gentle and informative. We have definitely found our vet. We have already returned for other appointments and have had the same experience every time. If concerned about prices, the prices are very comparable to other vets.

I've had dogs for 40 years and known some wonderful vets. Goldorado is right up there with the best. The facility is attractive and spotless. Everyone is always friendly and very helpful. Dr. Barnes & Dr. Prince are generous with their time and always patient with all of my questions. I am confident that my dog is in the best possible hands.

These two gentlemen veterinarians are the best. I first met Dr. Barnes when he first opened in a brand new development about 30 yrs ago or so. I came carrying a tiny kitten that had been run over close by as an emergency in an evening. He tried to save that kitten and when it died he charged me nothing. They are kind-hearted and professional. Last year when I rescued three feral kittens who were a bit wild, Dr. Barnes did not back away from them as other vets in the area had!! Update: Had to put my old boxer to sleep. The doctors both came out to help me carry her in on a stretcher. They helped me go through the difficult process of letting her go. She was having trouble walking and going to the bathroom normally so I would have to help her up all the time around the house. She had trouble walking on their tile floors so Dr. Barnes brought in a big mat to sit on. He sat with me and my girl for a while and we just talked about all the good times we had with my girl. I couldn't be happier with my experience, my cats treatment and the staff and Dr. Prince. My 3 years old cat had been missing for a few days and finally came home with a slightly healed terrible wound. I was a crying mess, they got me in immediately and recommended a surgical procedure so he would be ok. They were very considerate of finances and what needed to be done for the surgery and what could wait until a later time. Dr. Barnes, Dr. Prince and their superb staff have been terrific to work with over the last 20 years. We've relocated to St. Louis and wanted to give a shout out prior to our departure. Going through the ups and downs of a loved one's ailments and the respective costs is traumatic and tough.
