Went to Goldorado because Dr. Barnes, since retired, saved my cat's life last year. Went for a check up for my kitty, which included blood and urine labs. Total cost was $1100! 2 of the labs were not very common, they have to be shipped to another location, but I have since found out that this pricing is still ridiculous. Sorry Goldorado, I can no longer afford to come here.

Shady. The funny part about your response is the fact that I've been in there two months earlier and it was in the middle of a pandemic and you were allowing people coming in with a mask on and it was just fine The why you do it now it creates a lot of miss trust in what's going on I started going to another local vet and they are not doing it that way it's your loss I was using you for my pets for quite a while

Absolutely terrible service. Dr. Christine Gerst tried to get me to pay for xrays, and basically IV fluids for my "pretty dehydrated" puppy, but never once offered him water the entire time he was there. If he was so dehydrated, wouldn't you do the bare minimum as a doctor instead of letting him sit there and get MORE dehydrated? He was only overfed but she never gave us a diagnosis. Consumer beware!!! This is the worst facility I have ever been to, PERIOD!!! I had been boarding my dog at Golderado since he was a puppy, (almost 4 years)... as well as having his immunizations and nails/bath done as well. First of all... let me say up front that if you want your bill stacked and padded with unnecessary charges and services, then this is the place for you. This business is a complete scam. I have been a loyal client of Golderado Animal hospital for over 20 years. It is so disappointing how horrible the customer service is now, and how surly and rude the staff is, especially Kate and Leah. Too bad Dr. Barnes and his staff are no longer there - it certainly is not the family pet-friendly place it used to be. Looking for another vet.

Unfortunately I have to say that the staff has been so rude to me I've switched vets. Now I've been asking for my pets medical records and they refused to forward them. I feel bad for the doctors because the staff is ruining their business in my opinion. When I was there I noticed that they were very quick to go to very expensive procedures as compared to other vets who would try to solve the problem in a more reasonable way.

This is the worst. We put our cat there for 8 days from being dislocated by fire. I had to feed my cat everyday.

So sorry you had a negative experience. None of our staff can recall a scenario such as this. We offer Science Diet adult maintenance as a feeding option for our boarders, included in the cost of the kennel stay. We brought our bullmastiff in for possible sticker in his nose and my dog was treated horribly and so were we. We will never return to this place and want others to beware!!!

This place is a ripoff! We took our small dog into to have her anal glands released and they ended up charging us over $700!!!! We found out later this procedure costs only $20 at just about every other pet hospital! This place overcharges, price gouges!!!! Stay away from this pet hospital!!!
