I need to tell you this is the place to bring your pet. There is no better veterinary care in the tri state area. Dr Brown is the most compassionate, attentive vet ..........and has state of the art everything! And, importantly, she has a licensed dental specialist, which is extremely rare........... and 24 hour care!!!! There is always someone there watching your pet overnite (that is not always the case!) Always check! Patricia Dominguez, the dental specialist, saved my cats lives. For years, I have brought them to v... read more

I have been bringing my cats to Dr. Bonnie Brown for many years now and I am thrilled that she now has her own practice. I can already see that it's a remarkable place that reflects, in all its facets, her excellence as a vet and her compassion for the animals she treats (and their owners)! Dr. Brown is always ready to go the extra mile with you. I have had 3 cats with cancer and one who had FIP (and now one with asthma) and Dr. B has always been remarkably available to answer my questions, patient in discussing with me the... read more

Dr. Brown is wonderful. She cared for my last dog and now my latest. Probably the best thing is that she will actually return an off-hours call to her cell phone! Also, when my dog had an emergency she saw him right away. This is a vet who cares about the animals, not just the billing -- like most of the vets on the Upper West Side. Her new office is clean and friendly.

Yes well, Willy and John, whether Glenda works with Dr. Brown or not, she is right that Brown is a 5-star vet. I first went to Dr. Brown on a word-of-mouth recommendation when my dog had a torn ACL and I wanted a second opinion. After visiting her, I routinely started trekking across town and only using my local vet for routine annual matters like vaccines. Eventually, I switched entirely to Dr. Brown and will follow her to her private practice. I will tell you exactly why I like her and rank her so highly. She is perso... read more

Don't bring any animals to this practice. Avoid seeing Dr. Davila. She recommended euthanasia for my dog. I switched vets, nine months later, and my dog is happily running around the park playing and eating all the treats she can get. The thought of what if I followed their advice. I will happily post my full story and what exactly transpired. You would all be appalled. Dr. Brown should fire everyone, starting with the office manager. Remember the saying, "You hire who you are." This explains the unprofessional front de... read more

I have never left a review before but I was traumatized by my bizarre experience here: I was fostering an abused and abandoned sphynx cat through Little Wanderers (with the confirmed possibility to adopt). I was directed to bring him to Dr. Davila at this office for a simple check up. Within seconds of the start of his appointment, he was separated into to a back room. After waiting for 2 hours with no updates, the vet returned to the waiting room with an empty carrier. I was told that he would be neutered the following mo... read more

Stopped taking my dogs after misdiagnosis which caused major problems in my dog. Stay away from Dr Ashley. She is the rudest least caring Vet I have ever encountered. I'm shocked she is still there! Care is very inconsistent and always feels transactional. Always request docs on bloodwork and notes. What is in the notes isn't always communicated and can affect future insurance coverage. Years ago they were great but a lot has changed.

Business response:

Dear Ileana, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience and the difficulties your dog has faced. This is not the standard of care we strive to provide, and we deeply regret that you felt let down during your visits. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, thorough care, so it’s worrying to hear that you felt otherwise. Your feedback is important, and we’d like to better understand what happened so we can address these issues internally and ensure they do not happen aga... read more

I am so sad to write this review because Dr. Brown was wonderful for my dog, but I took my cat in this week and had such an awful experience with Dr. Ashley I feel I need to warn other cat owners. I had never met her, nor did she see me interact with my cat at all, and upon describing to her that his behavior is difficult and he has major mood swings so be mindful of how he'll react to an exam, she responded to me as if I hated him and was a negligent and uncaring pet owner. She pushed bloodwork when he's entirely healthy an... read more

Vet had no bedside manner. Super judgmental. Not my regular vet, who didn't have immediate availability. Absolutely do not recommend.
