dr.brown and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!! my dog has had suregery, as well as teeth pulled and the experience for both of us was as good as it could be. i love their compassion, expertise and the fact that they don't believe in over vaccinating. i highly recommend this practice.

I currently live in New York City, but prior to that I lived in a smaller city where people have close relationships with their health care practitioners, whether it be for humans or animals. As I searched for a veterinarian in NYC, the bar was set very high and as a result, I struggled to find one. We are very pleased with the service and attention Dr. Kahn has showed us and our lil guy. Definitely a down home neighborhood feel. She has answered all of our questions and is really good about following up with email when we've communicated with her that way. We've been to two other vets since we've been in NYC and I would definitely recommend Dr. Kahn and Gotham to anyone looking for a good vet in the area over the others we've tried.

If you care at all about your animals, travel to the other side of the country, if you have to. This is the vet who does right by you and your pets. People do not realize how important going to the right vet is. Dr Brown is the best. If you want the best, you need to see her.

While visiting Central Park @ 100th from NJ, my dog was attacked by a dog as soon as we arrived. Not knowing the area at all, we started walking to another vet but Pet Stop on 88th recommended Gotham. I walked in with a tired, bleeding dog. They gave her water and took her in right away. After shaving her at the incision, Dr. Kimberly Kahn came out to explain the options. I felt the confidence and was reassured that we were in good hands. I have taken my dog to Dr. Brown ever since he was a puppy and I can't say enough good things about her! She treats every animal that is in her care as if they were her own. She has been extremely honest about the pros and cons of each procedure and/or vaccination and has never told me to do/pay for something that is not necessary. As others have said, she is a great mentor to new pet owners and does everything to make you feel comfortable. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brown and Dr. Patricia Dominguez. I have had some serious issues with NYC vets and Dr. Brown and Dr. Dominguez completely solved my issues. It is worth the trip across town to take my dog to vets that I can trust.

I've taken my cat to see both Dr Brown and Dr Kahn. Whenever I've had to bring my cat in Drs Brown and Kahn took their time to listen to me, answered all of my questions, provided some wonderful and sensible advice, and (most importantly) made my cat feel comfortable. This is a wonderfully run practice that really cares about their patients -- a welcome change on the UWS!
