Dr. Cristina Carbonell was exceptional; she, and the rest of the staff, took such amazing care of our baby!! We brought our dog in the day after we adopted him from a rescue shelter and the staff was able to squeeze us in right away for an emergency visit. When I brought our dog in and told the nurse he has separation anxiety, she was so patient and asked about his potential reaction may look like. I took my dog Casey here to have his legs checked out and Dr Bonnie was amazing. They are very well set up to keep people safe during these times of COVID-19. They took very good care of my dog and the good news is his legs are okay. Dr Bonnie gave me some stretching recommendations and ideas to strengthen his legs also. It is comforting to know that he is fine and if we need to go to the next step, canine rehab is available here too!

Took a new kitten here because it was the only place that was open during COVID. They took care of my kitten so well while also maintaining a safe and clean environment. They were respectful and kind

Great experience. A little bit of a wait but that was due to COVID-19 new rules. They were quick, efficient and explained cost prior to treatment/examination.

I love this place! Bonnie Brown has been my pets' vet for years. If she's not available, all of the vets here are lovely, kind, and knowledgeable. Look no further - it's weirdly difficult to find trustworthy, skilled, reasonably priced vets in Manhattan, and Gotham has them.

I'm writing another review for Gotham Veterinary Center because they continue to astound me. Recently, Dr. Carbonell saw one of our boys. She is everything one could want in a professional who is taking care of your furry babies. She's so down to earth, and compassionate, and learned and KIND! Our very first and successful experience with Gotham Vet Center. My cat needed dental attention during COVID lockdown... they were open (they are OPEN) and friendly invited us for a visit. You have to understand... I found them by daisy chain calling from one veterinary to another... we set up an appointment the same day and the following week we had a procedure... our doctor Tom showed me all x-rays and explained everything... my kitty is happy and so do I.

These are difficult times, and yet Gotham's staff (esp Mercedes and Dr Shapard) could not have been more compassionate, or helpful. Dr Shapard took as much time as was needed to discuss Noodle's bloody rash (via cell phone), and then again after examining her. She explained what she felt should be done today, and developed a tentative treatment plan going forward. Every member of the staff with whom I interacted today was warm, helpful and patient. I have been a client here for a while, and my experiences have been fantastic. We have 4 cats, and while they are expensive, the cost of veterinary care is expensive. Let's be real...it's part of having animals. They are great about talking you through what they would like to do and working with you when funds are tight (cause we've all been there). Most recently we had to put one of our amazing kitties to sleep, and even with the current pandemic, we were able to sit with her and spend as much time as we needed to with her.... read more
