We have been bringing our dog here for 7 years. After moving from the UES to Astoria we tried out a vet in our new neighborhood and immediately said never again. Gotham Veterinary Center is the best in New York. Every single person we've worked with there has been so kind and patient. We trust the doctors there fully.

I have no problem with this verternary. I called to make a appointment cause my dog had a problem with her right ear. They gave me it for the next day (to my surprise). Their clean and friendly. The doctor was ok. They do take the dog to a back room where they examine her. I don't understand why they don't examine the dog in front of me. That's ok for me. Thank you for the excellent experience.

Words can't express how wonderful this group is. I found them after my old girl had surgery. They took the most excellent care of her - and helped us through the end stages of her life. Have also given support and care with a new puppy. Everyone, from the moment you walk through the door, is kind and responsive. Another wonderful quality is that the place exudes a sense of calm. I highly recommend them.

Very caring and conscious of expense of care. Literally 3 days before we were due to move to Chicago, our dog Bella came down with pancreatis (learned later via lab tests). Let's just say the symptoms are alarming and gross. Dr. Davis talked us through the care options (which included 2 nights at the facility), called me with updates when she said she would, and was both compassionate and practical. Dr brown saved my dogs life she's an amazing, caring sharp doctor. The staff at Gotham Is wonderful and friendly. I've been to a bunch of vets in the city and hands down this place is the best !

I was referred to Gotham Veterinary Center when another veterinarian discharged me from care after being unable to diagnose a rash on my small poodle. He gave me several rounds of antibiotics and then told me there was nothing more he could do. My friend who has show dogs suggested I see Dr. Bonnie Brown at Gotham. She immediately diagnosed and appropriately treated my little girl. Fast forward a couple years when my pup was severely ill and Dr. Brown was out of town. I have been a long time client of another highly rated Veterinary Center and my German Shepherd has received outstanding care. But when she developed a lick granuloma I had to research on line treatments and one was a new laser treatment. My usual Vet Center did not have a laser. So I found Gotham which did. It took several times using the laser at Gotham but my dog was cured! I was impressed that they had state of the art equipment and very surprised my long time Vet Center did not. I had a great first experience at Gotham vet this morning. They were able to accommodate my pup last minute for a checkup and to have her glands expressed. The pricing was transparent and the staff and vet were great. I had been using the VCA in the past which I was also very happy with. But as a west sider, it was just too far to keep taking my pup crosstown. I hope to have many more great experiences here!!

Gotham Veterinary was so great to our dog. Our pup was bit at a dog park and I brought her in since it was so close and they took her in RIGHT away. The veterinarians, nurses and front desk were all so so nice and accommodating. They set her up for surgery for the next morning and I had her by the afternoon. They gave me an estimate right off the bat (low and high estimate depending on how the surgery went) so we knew exactly what we were looking at. The facility is very nice and clean and the staff was wonderful!
