I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I have been to many vets with my dog Manny, for various reasons (some were too expensive, some seemed like a training ground for new vets, some places were just unorganized and unreliable) and I can wholeheartedly say that ALL the vets at Gotham are knowledgeable and caring. The office staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Brown and her staff are the sweetest. My family has taken their animals here for years. This was my first time taking my 1 year old dog for a checkup and everyone was so friendly. Dr. Brown was so caring and took her time with my dog and my dog loved her and the rest of the staff we saw. I'm very pleased with my experience here today!

We have been using Gotham since inception to take care of our dogs. We currently have two who are total drama queens. They both had dental cleanings and we were kept informed as to the progress of each through the day. When they were released we did a complete review with Dr. Tom who explained the work that he did, how we can better take care of our best friends' teeth and what we can expect in the future. Jobes (my dear kitty) and I love Dr. Carbonell. She is so gentle with Jobes and takes time to answer questions and do thorough exams. I really appreciate all she and GVC have done for Jobes. I also think the prices are reasonable. Jobes also recently needed a dental cleaning and a couple extractions -- the vet was also gentle with her and helped eased my fears. When I brought Jobes home, she ate and healed well, better than I expected! She is now more playful and less lethargic than before she had the extractions.
With the exception of one time (and I've been told that this particular vet does not work at this office anymore) I've had incredible experiences with this office since about 2010. The office is clean, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable; and I've always been able to get in quickly. The prices are also reasonable. Highly recommend! You would be hard-pressed to find a practice as professional and caring as Gotham Vet, run by the now legendary (yet humble) Dr. Bonnie Brown. I am a long time client, over 20 years. My most recent experience was today when my cat Pasha went in for dental surgery with Dr. Horvath. I first met Dr. Horvath for a consultation the other week. I never felt rushed. Bonnie and her team are professional and smart. The office is so well run, and the level of communication is excellent. We have worked with Gotham Veterinary Center for physical therapy, surgery, dental and routine medical issues for many years now. Highly recommend.
Me and my Dog both enjoy going to this Vet. They are always polite, never make You wait too long and helpful.
Overall, I have been very pleased with Gotham. Dr Brown is very knowledgeable and sweet, as well as a couple other doctors there I have dealt with. The front desk people have always been very friendly and helpful. This is the first and only veterinary center I have been to in NYC, so comparing them to others is impossible, however I have heard that their prices are high.
