The salesman ***** was great. We communicated with him throughout the entire installation and he always returned, emails, texts and/or phone calls. On the other hand, communication from the office was pretty bad. We had no idea when workers would show up. When the guys did show up to work they did a good job. *** was the lead installer and he knew what he was doing and he directed the others. All in all, the sunroom was completed about 4 months ago and it's OK.In the future I doubt that we would ever have a pre fabricated su... read more
Business response:
**********************,First off, we are happy to hear that you are enjoying your sunroon and that your saleman as well as installers provided you with the service we expect from all of our employees. In regards to the communication issues, we sincerely apologize. The effects of Covid on the supply chain and workforce as well as exponential growth in our business the past calendar year has left us with some catching up to do. We do our best to give customers as much notice as possible when someone will be visiting the site. ... read more
Do not do it . My patio is still not complete . At least the finance people have agreed to stop my automatic payments .
Business response:
********************,We are sorry to hear about the delay in completing your room. According to our records, a service tech was out to complete your service on 7/27 in turn, completing your room. We regret that you had to face such a delay but we are happy to hear you are on your way to enjoying your new patio.- The Great Day Improvements Team
Stay away! The install never happened! They never applied for my permit, missed install deadline, blamed it on COVID and when I called Marshall CO permit office and found they never applied I received only a partial refund of my $14,500 initial draw. They withheld $2000 “for CAD drawings”. I never received these drawings as promised. $2000 for absolutely nothing!!!
Business response:
*****************,We sincerely apologies for your experience not being what we would hope for. Many issues have arisen the past year due to Covid, supply-chain & labor shortages, as well as exponential growth within our company. Many of these things have led to delays, staffing changes, and longer wait times. We regret that your project was not completed with the care and quality that we pride ourselves in providing. According to our records, copies of the *** drawings you mentioned have been sent to you by our regional mana... read more
Worst purchase I've ever made. The patio is junk. I paid good money for the patio and it leak the screens have been replaced and it's not even 2 years old. I've called them to complain and it takes weeks for them to get back to me. I bought for my cats and the guy who sold it to me showed me different screen than I received. The day the crew put it up one of the slides was the wrong measurement so it was left partially open next thing I see I have mice in my house. I wanted to get rid of it then but the management would do n... read more

*******************,We are sorry to hear you feel this way. We strive to give everyone a five-star experience. We would like to provide some clarity to some of your claims and concerns. Referencing the contract that you signed prior to your build beginning, you asked for the heavy duty 7/8 extruded screen frame with black (anti-glare) aluminum mesh. This is the standard screen used on all of our PE rooms. There was no request for special or high impact screen for your room. As these screen issues are not covered under warran... read more
My husband and I bought a patio enclosure from Great Day Improvements on June 24, 2020. After we signed the contract, obligating us to pay this company about as much as the price of a small house, the attending Sales Lady asked us if we were excited. I admit, I was excited but, this whole thing has been a nightmare for us. The project began on September 29, which was when they demolished our old sunroom. The prefabricated walls for the new room were brought to our home and assembled on Nov 6th and 7th. Dozens of chips, nicks... read more

Ms. ******, We are sorry to hear of some of the hiccups you have encountered within the process of your room completion. According to our records you have been frequently visited and concerns addressed right away after they were reported as well as been in very constant contact with Design Consultant *******. We intend to address the most recent concerns as we have the past ones. You were able to speak with our Regional Manager today concerning that and about gathering any other punch list items you would like addressed at t... read more
Like a lot of what I’m reading here, we've had similar customer service issues with Great Day Improvements. We’re in the Chicago area, but their Milwaukee office was assigned to our project. We hired them to enclose a covered deck. $26,500 project (half of that financed through their program with GreenSky) which entailed them installing their sliding windows system with a sliding patio door, and a custom storm door for exterior access ordered by them from Provia. Around a month after contract signing, they notify me that the... read more

Patio Enclosures (PE) **** ********** **** ***** **** ******** ** Part of Great Day Improvements *** ******** **** * ********** **5/17/2020 - Contract signed for $44,320. PE waited on CAD drawings before beginning construction. 8/13/2020 - Construction began without CAD drawings. No building permit. 9/1/2020 – Enclosure nearly done except for a few things including electrical and peak windows. We hope we were able to let you know we take your comments seriously and that we apologize for any hiccups along the way during your build. From a salesperson who lied about the quality of the product he sold me, to an installer who tried to cover up that the frame to my patio doors was broken upon arrival, to never coming back and actually installing the replacement doors they promised me, this company is THE WORST. I am left having to pay to have the broken system removed and reinstalled by another contractor who hopefully will be honest. Do not use Great Day Improvements out of *******, MA.
Business response:
Ms. *****, We are happy to report that you spoke to our Operations Administrator today and discussed a date to install your new doors (7/8) and at this time we will do a full inspection and documentation of any other concerns you have with your room. Thank you for reaching out - The Great Day Improvements Team
Would not recommend this company even if they offered to do the job for free. Totally unprofessional from the start. **** ****** our sales rep never returned calls, texts or emails once the contract was signed. Contract signed June 2020 with construction beginning late February 2021. The project failed the first city inspection in early March and nothing has been done to fix the 15 items on the failed inspection list. The project is 1/3 complete, no end in sight, and the roof that was installed is leaking profusely.
Business response:
Dear Ms. *****, We sincerely apologize for all of the issues youve experienced. However, we are in the process of trying to make it right. The engineer inspected the work and we are waiting on documentation of the issues so we can gain approval from the city inspectors to execute the correction plan. While it is no excuse, we have had staffing challenges in this particular location and been impacted by global supply chain disruptions in raw materials which have only compounded the issues. Again, we sincerely apologize for th... read more
