A lady came to my door stating she was with housing and reading our meters . She never disclosed she was with a third party provider. She said they come once a year to check the tenants meters to make sure we are getting billed correctly . She said I would get a call from somebody and u needed to say yes and yes . When my husband signed us up, they were **************. Now, everything comes up Green Choice Energy. Our first **** with them, we saved $15. The following **** skyrocketed to nearly double of what we paid last year with BGE. After reaching out to the company online, no one has yet to follow up with our concerns. We were hoping for a savings because the prices for gas and electric are expensive, no matter how they try to sell it. Our records show that a manager left you an unreturned voicemail on 11/15/2021 and although a contract stating Green Choice Energy is not affiliated with and does not represent your **** and *** were completed the account was not enrolled. Several reps got into my apartment building and went door to door. They said they were "here on behalf of PPL" and wanted to make sure we weren't being over charged. Not once did they actually Admit that they were there to try to sell me on Green Choice but underhandedly implied that they were there from PPL to make sure I had a "provider". EXTREMELY unethical sales practice. No one knows how they even got in the building so we're assuming they piggy backed a resident as it was after 6PM on a Sunday and the office was closed... read more
Same experience as lots of people here. One man show up and collect all my info and **** account number and try to ask me to assign the switch contract while keep saying the supplier won't change. Straight out lie in from of you. I did gave him my name, number plus the **** account, and click the suspicious website he sent to me via text. And this TPV website pops up and asking me to assign the contract. I rejected and the man starts to throw harsh words. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS THEY CLAIM TO PARTNER WITH YOUR EXISTING COMPANY They waited till our leasing office was closed and then went door to door claiming to be someone they werent. How do these people live with themselves im in tears right now im so upset
They knock at your door offering a "cheaper" option than PSEG. On the 2nd billing cycle they charge you twice the amount. I'm paying more on my September ****, than on all my summer bills when Air Conditioners were turned ON during day and night. Don't get robbed or fooled by them. Not an honest business.
Total SCAM ALERT. Lied to my face, charged me over doubled for electricity I didn't even use. Have run my AC due to weather change in our area and they charged me more for not using electric. Not only that they guy who came to my door said he was from duke energy not this company and I didn't find out until seeing a **** from **** energy. They have scammed me for so much money that I didn't even have to spare. After calling often for months I was finally able to get ahold of an agent to cancel.
