Sent an aggressive sales person to my door, told me I was being overcharged and then took my phone out of my hand to sign a contract for me without my knowledge. This is absolutely a scam. I called to cancel through the company, if they pursue charging me or taking away my service with my current provider I will be looking for a legal alternative to deal with this company. What a joke.

Green Choice Energy tried to sign me up through a door-to-door salesman who lied to me in order to pressure me into signing up. He told me they were working with my local gas utilities company to ensure gas rates were corrected after prices rose due to inflation. When I asked why the document he wanted me to sign said I authorize this switch of service to Green Choice Energy, he told me nothing would be switched and they just needed the signature to ensure my rate was lowered. I am the Victim of Scam who said they were ***** and used *** to get money from me stating I was required to pay a cancelation fee of $900 before going back to ***** , . I am very sick and caught at bad time . When I made contact with *** they assured me this is not there policy.

STAY AWAY !!! Total scam the guy comes to the door and is very aggressive trying to get our supplier I'd number. He makes several attempts and claims he's from our supplier I don't buy it. He claims he needs to do all the neighbors today so if I could please just give him the number. I was visited by a gentleman and two ladies on July 11, 2022 at my apartment building in the evening. He indicated that Green Choice Energy worked with *****, and they sent him because the supplier charge on my **** was for an out of state supplier and I HAD to choose a local supplier. He asked to see my ***** **** to show the delivery and supplier charges as well as the area on the **** where it indicated I had to change my supplier (untrue after further review). Green Choice Energy came to the door claiming they were part of ***, I signed with them just to find out they had lied. Called ***, they claimed I could opt out, I agreed to opt out. 2 months later I get a **** with Green Choice Energy added to my ***. I don't know who I am more ticked about. Green Choice Energy for being fraudulent or *** for backing them up.
