I was misled into signing up for this service for my gas and electric in Pennsylvania. The guy came to my door and told me they just had to fix something with my service. I had just moved in so I was too trusting and signed up. That was in late July. Now I'm getting very high gas and electric bills and trying to find a way out. I'm not even sure if I am under some contract or not because the representative did not make that clear at all. I just need to get rid of this and find a reputable gas and electric supplier.
Same as everyone else here. Has a GCE salesperson (who flipped his badge so i couldn't see it.) Seeing as MI is a one party state, I silently recorded him, asking him if I was switching companies and he said no - which is a patent lie. Tricked me into switching my Consumer's Gas to GCE. My account transition has already been resolved, but if there is a class action for this, I have definitive proof of them lying on an audio recording.

I was fraudulently misled and had I known this was a true scam I would have turned him away. They come to your door at a bad time and catch you off guard, I mistakenly enrolled last night 10/13/22 and want to ensure my cancellation goes through immediately. I do not want the service, I repeat I do not want the service.

Green Energy Choice straight up lied to us about how our electric company was charging us to much money and they would be able to over see and that they were higherd to protect consumers but we have received a bill that was out ratio is our electric company charged *****.ok but then green choice energy charged ** ****** this is straight up fraudulent.

Sent an aggressive sales person to my door, told me I was being overcharged and then took my phone out of my hand to sign a contract for me without my knowledge. This is absolutely a scam. I called to cancel through the company, if they pursue charging me or taking away my service with my current provider I will be looking for a legal alternative to deal with this company. What a joke.

Green Choice Energy tried to sign me up through a door-to-door salesman who lied to me in order to pressure me into signing up. He told me they were working with my local gas utilities company to ensure gas rates were corrected after prices rose due to inflation. When I asked why the document he wanted me to sign said I authorize this switch of service to Green Choice Energy, he told me nothing would be switched and they just needed the signature to ensure my rate was lowered. I am the Victim of Scam who said they were ***** and used *** to get money from me stating I was required to pay a cancelation fee of $900 before going back to ***** , . I am very sick and caught at bad time . When I made contact with *** they assured me this is not there policy.
