A man came into my controlled access apartment and stated he was a utility supplier. The man stated that there was an issue with my current gas statement and the company that he acted as he worked for was attempting to get it corrected. He stated that I was being charged Gas Cost Recovery item and they are working to get it removed. I unknowingly signed to a different company called Green Choice Energy. I am a senior citizen with no invome, I was told by this company they specialize in ****** with the cost of supplier of electricity, however I am being charged double the amount $204.77 just from their company. I am experiencing bad financial hardship and dont know what to do.

Came to my door saying he was from the gas company and I was over charged on last month's **** and said I would be offered a refund on the overcharge so I E-signed on his phone with a copy of my gas ****, and I would be getting a live call in 30 seconds to confirm when the call came in they just said they were Green Choice Energy and I said the man standing here said he was from consumers energy and told her i will comply to any agreement till I look into it further!!!!

Someone knocked on my apt door at 5pm stating they were my gas company. The guy said he can lower my rates. Some idiot let him in the apartment building. This company is terrible. They definitely are a predatory business. Only way they can make money is to deceive people into thinking they are legitimate. Anyway, he wanted me to sign a contract and that's when I said, "goodbye." They say they operate out of ********. Ha, they are definitely based in *****.

forcefully got into the aprartment, the agent name is ******************************************************* saying he works for ****, forcefully took the phone from hand by saying he needs to check about a link he just send that is related to our peco account, before you understand anything he signed himself my name and got me enrolled with out explaining anything, when he left without answering all the questions i had i check that he humself signed to enrolled and then just ran away, i had to call the main number and spen... read more

Scam. Impersonated and pretended they worked for PSEG and tried to manipulate me to switch my energy provider over to them. To their CEO/marketing/sales team: do you want to gain the trust of your customers? Don't do this.

Representative came to our door saying that other residents have been complaining of too high energy bills. He claimed to be from a company "in charge of the **** distribution for *******." Boyfriend answered the door, signed the form before I came out and said we were not interested in the service. We did not complete the call they wanted us to, but I think all they need in order to complete the scam is your signature. Wow thank goodness I didnt fall for this. A guy shows up at my door and starts talking quickly. It sounds like hes from PSE&G and he wants me to get a lower ****. I gave him my info which is kind of dumb, but when it comes time to sign a contract, he kept telling me to just sign it. And thats when I snap back to reality and it dawns on me how sketchy everything is. Im like why on earth would I sign a contract without even having time to read it. How is the even legal?
