STAY AWAY !!! Total scam the guy comes to the door and is very aggressive trying to get our supplier I'd number. He makes several attempts and claims he's from our supplier I don't buy it. He claims he needs to do all the neighbors today so if I could please just give him the number. I was visited by a gentleman and two ladies on July 11, 2022 at my apartment building in the evening. He indicated that Green Choice Energy worked with *****, and they sent him because the supplier charge on my **** was for an out of state supplier and I HAD to choose a local supplier. He asked to see my ***** **** to show the delivery and supplier charges as well as the area on the **** where it indicated I had to change my supplier (untrue after further review). Green Choice Energy came to the door claiming they were part of ***, I signed with them just to find out they had lied. Called ***, they claimed I could opt out, I agreed to opt out. 2 months later I get a **** with Green Choice Energy added to my ***. I don't know who I am more ticked about. Green Choice Energy for being fraudulent or *** for backing them up.

After years of routinely turning away sales representatives from my door, I signed up to receive electricity from Green Choice on June 15. I immediately regretted it and emailed to rescind my contract that very night. The contract gives a three day window to rescind either by email or by phone. I have yet to receive a response. The rep who came to my house told me several times that I had 3 days to rescind and that I could cancel anytime. THIS IS A SCAM! As the account holder I did not authorize this change, and yet it was allowed. How is that possible! They come to your door and pose as your electric company and say they will help you save money. FALSE! Total scam.

You send out door to door salesmen: The story I was told was that my electric **** is increasing 40%. I told him I was with an energy company to supply wind, solar. He said he would give me a lower price of KW hour than I pay right now, and gave me a low figure so I said sure, told me I could cancel anytime. Wish I could give 0. I signed up years ago. When I somehow switched back to my regular electric supplier, they called to renew. I fell for it. They called during my work hours and literally won't leave you alone (unless you need them to answer you--then they are unreachable). But with their sales people, awful timing, awful ambushes at grocery stores, and "savings" you have no time to verify in that moment, it's easy to get sucked into it. A very nice woman came to my door wearing the Green choice energy vest. She told me she was here in response to complaints by people in my area that they were being over charged and she asked me to see my electric and gas bills right there at the door. I explained that I was ill and could not do that right then. I asked her if there was a way to do it later and she said it would be mentioned at the bottom of the bills.
