my first night here in detox alone in my room, not one person came to check on me. i had to walk down to the nurses station 2 times, and asked them to talk me blood pressure and pulse and they were both very high.
I contacted the AA online and a guy named Cory got me through the process. He booked the flight for me. Through the whole process with Cory we were lied to by Cory. We would see Psychiatrist on a daily bases. That was a BOLD lie. Cory promise you the world and you got nothing that he promises. My insurance was going to pay another lie by Cory. I came to Greenhouse with my husband under a myriad of lies. This was a choice for both of us but especially me. We were told we would not be able to room together or show public displays of affection but otherwise be able to communicate and have couples counsels as well as individual. None of this is true. However after advocating with Maggie we have had 2 excellent sessions. Having had therapy for years, this facility is lucky to have her. WARNING!! Not only is this facility not LGBTQ friendly, but they are just milking the insurance. Our daughter was there exactly 2 weeks and was told she had to leave AMA or be transferred when she would not agree the Director (Keisha) and staff took her belongs to the curb and left her there is 100 degree weather without food or water. The staff even refused to allow her to use the restroom. The excuse given was that she had a few verbal outburst with staff. Never noncompliant or violent. This place is a joke. They will take your insurance and get you there. Around day 15 they boot you out like garbage. The entire staff is lazy. No one wears a mask and after they get you good and mad they kick you out. Waste if money and time. You are better off detoxing in jail.
it has been a great experience. Besides some of the stupid ass rules here, its a nice place to be. i dont think people should get in trouble for talking and befriending the opposite sex. that is the dumbest fucking rule i have ever heard of. women cant be with women all the fucking time because it causes problems in the group. i doubt you reading this will even give a shit but thats my input. thank you.
