Food was ok, server never brought appetizers. But we weren’t charged for them, so probably never put them in. Atmosphere is nice, newly opened so we will probably dine again, but will give them a bit to work out the kinks.
Open Table reservation was made for outdoor seating. However, we were not given outdoor seating. First table offered (inside) would have been too small for the four of us, so we had to request a different table (also inside). Moe, our server, was the best part of experience at Grindstone. We might go back.
The place is beautiful; our waitress was very good. It took a little long to get out food, but we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big ussue. We all liked our food. A very good job; especially for just opening. I've already been back!
The stuffed pork chop was very good. I also enjoyed the bread pudding. We went on one of the first nights it was open and the service was great!!!!
My Dad is allergic to onions and garlic and after thoroughly discussing this, his dinner was served with onions and garlic. They helped him order a new dinner, but it took forever. His meal should have been free. My sister’s drink order took forever. She had to ask several times. Disappointed because I have always enjoyed it here. Doubly disappointing because we were celebrating my father’s 81st birthday.

They were busy, including a private party on the patio so we were rushed to order and eat. Food came out absolutely cold, and I was brought the wrong order. They did bring me the correct item I ordered and even that came out cold and was MAYBE half an order. We were NEVER asked how our meal was or if we wanted more drinks. Been here before and it was good. However, not on Sunday night, August 23. Mac and Cheese was cold, we sent it back. Green beans were luke warm. Server forgot to put in one of the entrees (Meatloaf). When it came out after everyone’s meal it was not good. They had dumped out all of the iced tea so no refills available (well before closing). Our reservation was at 730p. Not a good experience for our party or 9, several in from out of town. We are local. Not sure I will bring a big party here again.

Place is usually great. We must have just hit a bad night. I had to send back 2 of our orders due to them being cold. The waiter was so apologetic-the manager not so much, just handed me the hot soup and didn't say a word.

Was hoping for a good Hoosier Tenderloin but it was overcooked, dry, and hard. There weren't enough condiments in the restaurant to make it palatable. The fries were luke warm and I did ask them to replace those, which they did. Son and his fiance' had similar issues with their steak sandwiches. The wife had pasta which she said was good.
