I bought a 30. 000 dollar used car and when i walked out the price was 62.900 they were happy until I came back the next day and said I cannot take this car with all of the additions they made for it. I said I would take the car if they took all of the xxxx off and they kept saying come back I'm gonna do this for you and you really need the extended warranty. so, it went another day. then a third I called them and told them I'm not buying the car and I want my deposit back. They still have not returned my deposit even after ... read more

Immensely frustrating and disappointing experience with Honda service by Daniel Petriello on Saturday. Service for regular maintenance and poor air conditioner functioning ended with worse air conditioning, damage to the front passenger's door, and no explanation or answering of questions. Despite marking brake condition over 5mm, brake warning light went on within a day after the appointment. Were they dismissive of these issues because my daughter brought the car in? My car's functioning is now worse than before the "maint... read more

Business response:

At Halton Honda, we take every concern seriously, and we want to assure you that our team strives to provide consistent, professional service to all customers, regardless of who brings in the vehicle. Any implication that the quality of service was affected by who brought in the vehicle is completely unfounded, and we regret that your experience did not meet the high standards we strive to maintain. We also want to clarify that Daniel Petriello is an apprentice and did not perform work on your vehicle, especially on the A/C ... read more

I am very unhappy that my vehicle is having major issues with only 106,000 kms. There are design flaws that Honda is not taking responsibility for. I am n a Facebook forum - Honda CRV forum which has many people complaining about CRVs going into limp mode due to many different reasons that are indicative of a of serious design flaws. It can be very dangerous when your vehicle suddenly looses power on a highway. Honda should be doing a recall to correct the known issues. I see a Class action suit coming Hondas way because of ... read more

Car was there because of a recall notice. They called to say I was due for oil change and tire rotation. I agreed to the oil change. When I went to pick up the car, I was informed that all 4 tires got a 10/10 rating when they were examined. The treads were fine. I didn't even need a tire rotation. Saved myself $48.99 but sort of lost trust in them. Is anyone honest anymore????

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent visit. We appreciate your concerns and understand how important trust is when it comes to vehicle service. We want to clarify that while tire rotation is recommended as part of regular maintenance to promote even wear, it is not directly related to tread depth. The recommendation for a tire rotation is based on mileage and the specific service schedule for your vehicle, rather than the condition of the tread itself. But we are glad to hear that your t... read more

Service Department quoted $450. 00 to replace and install driver side sun visor. This is a very common break down in Honda’s. Purchased replacement visor from Amazon Prime and installed in 15 minutes! xxx! Total rip off!

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback. Our service team provided you with an estimate based on genuine Honda parts and dealership installation costs, which follow Honda Canada’s pricing guidelines. While aftermarket parts may be available at a lower cost, we use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts to ensure quality, fit, and longevity. Our pricing is in line if not lower than most dealerships. If you have any concerns about pricing, we recommend reaching out to Honda Canada directly, as we do not set these costs. That said, we... read more

Bad attitude from customer service as always, and no enough knowledge to explain to customers and satisfy their needs. Technician takes long time to fix a simple problem always. The pricing is higher than other dealers.

Business response:

We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration caused. Providing excellent customer service and clear communication is a priority for us, and we regret that we fell short in your case. We also strive to offer competitive pricing—often lower than many dealerships—and our factory-trained technicians are committed to addressing concerns thoroughly and accurately. We understand that the repair process can be frustrating at times, and it’s always our goal to prov... read more

I needed to pick up my winter tires from storage and called them to set it up. They booked me for a service appointment for the following Monday which would trigger the tires being pulled from storage. I was expecting to run in and get the tires and leave. When I got there they had not even pulled them Out. I was told repeatedly it would take 5-10 minutes. I mentioned multiple times I was late to pick up my kids from school. After 30 min (I arrived at 4:09 and left at 4:40 I finally had my tires but they had put two in the t... read more

Business response:

We’re sorry to hear about your recent experience and apologize for any inconvenience caused. That said, we’re pleased our staff was able to expedite your request and have your tires ready within 30 minutes. Regarding the placement of your tires, we’d like to investigate further.
