This printer is a good copier and scanner This printer is a good copier and scanner. If you want to print, buy something else. It will print sometime with Wifi and a little more with USB. Right now, it will not print at all because I am getting an error message that is not in the manual and that is not on the Brother website. My only choice is to try to fix it by staying on hold and trying to communicate with someone who cannot speak English. Its going back and I will never by Brother anything again.

Not excited about spending another 69.00 for a new black ink toner.
Terrible Machine - Has to be restarted every time you want to print! It has now been almost 6 months since we bought this printer and we have done EVERYTHING; including changing our internet / wifi equipment and spending hours with Brother tech support online, to make this very very bad buy work. The machine goes offline immediately upon printing and will not wake up when you send a print - Has to be restarted EVERY TIME and sometimes has to be reconfigured for wifi network as well. It's garbage. Constantly will not connect to wifi and computers ... It's garbage. Constantly will not connect to wifi and computers cannot print to this printer. Even the standard procedure of turn off and turn on again sometimes works but often does not. I will never buy Brother products again.
Not recommended This product worked ok out of the box. Since we have replaced the toner it is horrible. We have tried every troubleshooting recommendation (cleaning the drums, etc.) and nothing has worked. The print quality is terrible. I would not recommend this printer to anyone.
Do your research Had to return it. I just think it was a bad one.
Color is drab I'm so sad! We just spent several hours rearranging our office set up to make room for this enormous thing! I was so excited to be able to print in color. I printed some photos to get a sample of what it can do, and the color quality is awful! The original photos are bright and cheery and the printed photos are drab, dark and pixelated. Purchased and Returned Bought this for my wife’s home office. Always been a fan of the smaller Brother laser printers and I was expecting the same. Not really. First, the biggest issue is that this machine features a document scanner and copier (great) BUT it doesn’t have a document feeder so you have to scan documents one at a time. Like their other models Decent printer if you don't need photo quality. Like their other models, toner must be replaced even when there is gobs of it left. The brother website justifies this by saying the toner must be replaced to maintain top print quality. Well, let the customer decide what they'd like to do instead of forcing it on them...not to mention that it isn't environmentally friendly.
