Works well in right conditions First let me state that I am not an IT or network expert so readers should use their own judgment in considering my conclusions. Overall this printer performs to my satisfaction. The first unit had to be returned due to a broken engagement tab that actuated the cover closed switch. Works when it works but then it doesn't It disconnects itself from Wi-fi sometimes and there is no usb to plug into so I need to wait around until tomorrow when it might reconnect to our wifi and then I can print again. Died within One year.
Will not print double sided color...... I bought this machine to print color double-sided copies. It cannot do this without getting paper jammed. It gets jammed EVERY TIME. I now go to a printer for these projects and it sucks. I can print single sided color, and single & double sided black. But not what I need.
One page at a time It only allows me to scan one page at a time. Not what I wanted.
Great color laser printer. I wanted to replace our color printer with a laser color printer and this one was just what I needed. My other printer used liquid colors and I had to clean the color nozzle heads a lot to get good prints. The laser printer uses very fine powder colors and there are no nozzle heads to clean. I set it up so that when one of my colors or black cartridge needs replaced it is automatically sent to me.
Very poor print quality The printer worked for about the first 3 months or so, but since then, print quality is horrible and I've tried multiple "fixes" and nothing has worked. Support hasn't been good either.
after 1year, does not fuse the toner, so documents smear. I liked the printer very well until the warranty expired and documents began printing with ghost powder and smearing . I can't print my shipping labels because the code can't be read by scanners.
Not as expected I was really disappointed by the color output. The images are much darker and overall the quality is not as anticipated. The machine disconnects itself from our server, so the wireless printing option is kind of a joke. When I want to print, I have to go restart it so that it will reconnect.
Terrible quality short lifetime This printer worked well for the first few months. Now it has poor color registration and other printing issues and no response from brother. Don't waste your money!!!!!
