Piece of cake to install Needed to replace an Epson inkjet multifunction after Hurricane Harvey. This is a solidly functional printer, only a minimal learning curve. It does not come with a USB cable, but if you have a Wi-Fi network in your home, it will print and scan wirelessly. I downloaded the latest drivers from the Brother Website instead of using the provided driver disc. Initial installation was a piece of cake. Crap Product Wifi support is crap, constantly drops wireless connection and refuse to reconnect. Driver trouble when using with Windows 10 over USB. Do not recommend.
What a disappointment! I wanted to have double sided and wireless ... I went from a Brother MFC 9340 to this 3180CDW. What a disappointment! I wanted to have double sided and wireless capabilities, but so far, after hours on the phone with Brother, the printer either doesn't print out what is sent to it, or it takes forever for the data to load. I waited too long to use it to find out about these problems and send it back. The capabilities of the two printers are like night and day.

two sided printing jammed I understand why it jammed. For ME. I had something UNDER the printer jammed. when the printer sucks the paper back, it drags it down underneath! the printer and when I had something under my printer, it clinks the paper that is what jammed it because when the paper goes back up to print the second time it was not going back without curing and getting stuck
I have bought this printer three times...first time was great. Next two were a mistake. I am so sick of this printer. I am on my third. They die every year, and with the price, and the fact that I can reuse the ink cartridges, I kept buying it. But I never get to my ink cartridges...My printer dies before...so I am moving on. No more brother printer!
I would warn anybody who gets this that although it ... I would warn anybody who gets this that although it has duplex printing, it does not have a paper feeder. I would step up to the MFC9330CDW.
Terrible printer. Very slow to print from the first ... Terrible printer. Very slow to print from the first day. After 2 months, started having WiFi connection problems. Now after 3 months, once it goes into sleep mode, it will not print again until it is shut down and restarted. It will not recognize generic toner refills, requiring $$$ Brother cartridges. I will not buy a Brother printer again.
