There were many bad reviews about HomeWorld, Aiea. Lots of them because there was no salesperson to assist them. We went to Homeworld on Oct 10,2015. As soon as we entered the store entrance, "Emil" greeted us. He asked us what we are looking for and we told him we looking for a fabric sofa. He seemed to know each piece of furniture in the "HUGE" store. We found the one we wanted, but it was "out of stock and back ordered". He showed us another one and we liked it. This isn't my first time here nor my first time looking for mattresses. However, this is the first time I'm looking one for me. And this is the first time I'm not getting good service. The woman who helped me only cared about "my price" and what I can afford. Even though that is a factor, comfort is my big thing and I am willing to pay for that. All I can say is watch out for Clark if you really are just window shopping here. NOT because he is a pushy salesman, but because he is such a KIND and WONDERFUL salesman. Clark makes you feel like you are talking to your uncle - the one you like hanging around. I went into the store with the intent of doing research and buying a bed especially since they were having the 27-months no interest sale, which is up my alley because I'm on a budget. We went in to pick out a new couch for our new home, after a few minutes of browsing around the store, we were greeted by an associate Brian. He was very friendly, he would give us some space to take a look Around but was always there when we had questions on some of the furniture. Yelpers..............DO NOT GO THERE!!! If I could do 0 stars I would! The same thing basically is happening to me currently as Jeremy B!! I purchased a two seat recliner power loveseat in November 2014 for approximately $2000 including sales tax. It was a floor model and I purchased the item 'as is'. They also talked me into getting the extended warranty and I was given the impression that "everything" was covered under that warranty. In my experience, if I leave a store feeling like I have learned or gained something from the experience then it is the result of a good salesperson. If I leave a store regretting spending money or like I've just been taken for a sucker, then the salesperson was most likely not so good. I have been to this HomeWorld a few times, and like the many other Yelpers who've reviewed this location, I have had mixed results with most of the sales people there during my visits with the exception of one. The clearance section is huge and comprehensive. Mark had perfect customer service skills and after hearing what we were looking for, zeroed in on what we ultimately bought within 3 minutes. This place gets all my furniture purchases from now on. The road construction in front is inconvenient, but don't let that stop you from buying excellent furniture at a great price.

Mike Wood helped us find everything we needed - even used an app to draw our living room to help us decorate it appropriately! The unique pieces from India, the mango wood and the bamboo motif pieces are gorgeous! Love it!
I went in on Sunday afternoon to check out the furniture. The store is very clean and has a large selection of furniture. I do want to recognize the girls at the customer service desk. They were all very friendly and helpful. One girl in particular called for a salesperson to help me right away. The salesperson was very knowledgable and offered good advice in how to furnish my house. I was very pleased with the overall service and will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family.
