Back in 2016 I ordered a sofa and the sales person told me that if I purchase the extended warranty I could get a full refund of it after all 5 years were done. Since there was no risk I bought into it. After 5 years I came back to get my refund since I didn't use the warranty at all and they told me to come back in a year to receive it. I don't normally do bad reviews but I am very disappointed of my last experience here at Home Wold Pearlridge- I have bought several furnitures here in the past years and everyone was very helpful and received and excellent customer service, well NOT this time. We walked in looking for a bar stools, the gentlemen greeted us at the front and told us where we could find them so we helped ourselves and we did find one that we wanted. Brandon sold us 3 beds, mattresses, bookshelves, and other bedroom furniture on 10/11. The original 11/5 delivery was postponed till 11/12. However, it was a fiasco. Only the king size bed was assembled, but the 2 full beds were not because of missing bed parts & a locking mechanism screw that fell out of the plastic bag between the store & our home. To date, NO one can give us an answer to the solution. We kept being bounced from the store, delivery, and parts department. On 11/15 the mattresses arrived, but could only... read more

Horrible customer service. They tell you to call and schedule your delivery 1-2 weeks in advance, but when you call, they schedule it 1 month away. Then when you call to talk to your salesperson (Susan Shank) they get cocky and sassy and tell you a different story and try to charge you additional charges on top of the delivery charge you've already paid, on top of the $12k we spent in the store! Then they tell you now it's 3-4 weeks for delivery and when you tell them you were told 1-2 weeks, they say it changed. Hmmm, then ... read more

Went in and wanted to look and figure out what we wanted. It's sad that the salespeople kept smothering us. Found something I liked. But they insisted something else. I didn't understand why does the salesperson consist of showing us something else. And they always are trying to push certain brands. It seems like the salesperson gets more commission on selling certain items. They need to learn to listen and not give us stories of their life. And i think it was a manager. I ordered a couch back in February of this year; it is now September and still no couch. I've called multiple times and they keep pushing the date back another month and another. I'm loosing patience and getting slightly irritated. They blame it on covid but If you know that a customer is gonna wait months on end for an item you better offer some type of reparation even if it's small. We purchased a full dining room set on Black Friday 2020 and we were told that at least our dining table and chairs would arrive two months later in January. It is now August 2021, almost a WHOLE YEAR later and not one piece of our dining set has been delivered. We have made the initiative on our end to call Home World to get a status update multiple times. This review will start with the delivery date of 2/8/2021. After ordering our sofa at the end of November 2020 we were excited to get a call from our sales associate Mauro to let us know that we could finally schedule delivery. The first available date was Friday February 8, 2021. 2 days before the expected delivery date I recieved a call from a young lady confirming my delivery date and letting me know I would receive a call the day before with a 4 hour delivery window. Went on June 7, 2020 and bought a sofa and chair for over $3,000.00. The sales man said the chair had to be brought in but he'll call around and see if we can get it by the end of June. Do you think he did his job? Nadas! Zilch! No response once he made the sale to us. We had to call at the end of July and were told that the chair was not in the recent shipment. Are you kidding me?
