Went to redknot to look for a pull out sofa bed and mattress for my stepdaughter. Thinking this place would be like the ashley furniture in salt lake, i was a little hesitant on talking to a salesperson. Because the salt lake ashley sales people are rude, unproffessional andreally ruin your shopping. So when we walked in here at redknot i had my guard up. I'm surprised I've never written a review so after today's purchase I guess it's time. I have family coming the first two weeks of August and thought it's time to make accommodations for them. I've been thinking, should I get fotons, blow up beds, give up my Kingsize Sleep Number bed and bedroom (I love my family but hell no on that one), double up the boys upstairs.....many choices but none seemed to be the right choice. Searched online for months before arriving on island and worked with Gerry and Shar (in house designers) to pick out the perfect furniture for the new place. They coordinated with my real estate agent and even went by the house during escrow to take measurements to ensure everything would fit together and help me with placement ideas for other pieces. Well, just a tad disappointed. My husband and I ordered a bed here and were under the impression it was in stock, come to find out it wasn't (after we already paid for it) we looked at three or four different models and none of them were in stock as well. So then we are told it will be delivered late February. We received no call, so I call them and now they say mid March. I just think for the price you pay and the timeline they give you of when it will be ready should be better. I know that have to ship everything over, but... read more

I wanted to say thank you to Joann the manager in customer service and to William the service tech for the exceptional service that they provided us. They were able to turn a very disappointing situation for us into a very pleasant experience! Service like this goes a long way and will keep the customers shopping in your stores!!! My husband and I did our research and found a sofa online that we could both agree on. We decided to go to the store to check it out in person. We walked in and Margaret introduced herself right away. Fortunately the couch we came to see was right by the front door. Margaret was so helpful and answered our questions. I initially went to Red Knot looking for a sofa and was promptly greeted by Honey when I entered the showroom. She encouraged me to look around and explained that many of the items at Red Knot were more contemporary in design and that HomeWorld next door had a larger variety of both traditional and contemporary pieces. I walked over to the HomeWorld store and was warmly greeted by Luisa who was happy to walk me through the showroom. Red knot, slumber world and home world all in one complex. Not many furniture places in Hawaii so i think it's great that this place exist. I understand that CS Wo owns all three stores and they are all connected. Red knot for everyday simple less expensive items, slumber word for bed and home world has some of the higher end stuff. Nice selection of items but why don't they have the items readily available in the warehouse? Rather, you gotta wait a couple of months for arrival and then still be on a waiting list. How do they expect to keep customers this way?
