20 years ago we spent thousands on furniture here for our new place. Time to refurbished and what a disappointment. The prices are extremely high for what your get. Looking for a dresser and couch. Most of the items seemed bulky and designed for another generation. A crappy clearance couch averaged $1200. The entire clearance section felt sad and dirty. Terrible service We bought an item and was told by Maruo the salesman that it would be ready by end of the month (June) but when we called to follow up as the month is almost over, we were told that the item would not be ready till August Did not even call to inform us of the delay in getting the furniture Terrible service, should not make promises to customers when you dont know what you are talking about. Go somewhere else to get furniture

I bought a manual operated recliner $1,000+ and two rocking chairs $500 each Way over price. Also a bogus warranty which they have failed to own up to. Very gangster operation in my humble opinion. Use amazon 1/2 price and they standby their return policy. I gave them 2 stars b/c I don't care. Live and learn my dear departed mother would say. Absolutely a learning experience. God bless

I went to Homeworld yesterday looking to buybaome furniture for my home and 7 sales people passed and no one gave me no hello.or may I help you. I even went to the outlet section and even theybsidnt acknowledge me. On Saturday I had gone to Ashley Furniture in Salt Lake and a young ma. Name Chandler greeted me and even helped me for 1 1/2 hours and I didn't buy anything. He was courteous and very patient with me. The service at the store was good, but my experience with getting a replacement couch is a nightmare. After receiving the initial couch (a sectional), I found the material on the corner piece was overly loose. It took five more months to receive the replacement, only to discover they ordered the wrong piece. The customer service agent initially claimed I made an error in my replacement order (like I am in charge of logistics and inventory) and then informed me that reordering the correct piece would take another five months.... read more

Doing business with this company has been a nightmare!!! We received a bedroom set that was toxic it smelled like it was soaked in bug spray. They informed us that when it's shipped the containers are fumigated. The smell was so bad we couldn't sleep in our without getting nauseous.I had to return it.They tried to charge us for delivery from our deposit.I thought that was wrong since I had no furniture. And now they didn't even cancel the charges for the furniture with the credit card company.What the heck!!! It's just crazy... read more

*This is a customer service review only* There are so few options when furniture shopping in Hawaii. After checking Yelp for recommendations I was even more disappointed. I was in the market for a new bedroom set, a couch and a dining room set. Off I went to see what I could find at Homeworld Aiea. If you didn't know, Homeworld is owned by C.S. Wo. The store salesman was so rude and was not knowledgeable of the products he had on the floor. I went off on my own to shop and found a floor model item I wanted to purchase and the store manager wouldn't sell it even at full retail price! I guess they don't need sales.

Ordered my couch from here, which was super nice, we got it delivered on time, everything was great. After that couch broke, because we bought one with a usb charging port & reclining chairs. The wire started getting faulty and eventually stopped working. Luckily we did pay for warranty and was able to swap out for a new couch. This is where the 1 star happened. As our re- selection which means they took our couch back & allowed us to have our credit back for our couch, so we can select a new couch to replace our old one. ... read more
