In terms of service - this place can be so hit or miss. Sometimes you do have the crazy vultures who follow you around the store and WILL NOT leave you alone. Not a good way to get my money. Even once we had one lady who wouldn't leave us alone - She followed us for over 30 minutes and KEPT asking if we needed help! It was just to much. Let me preface this by saying that I don't always go back to the sales person who comes up to me the first go round. I have to like the person and be comfortable with them. If I don't feel a rapport, I leave and the next time I seek someone else out till I find someone I like. This is why I tend to scope out the place months in advance . That said, a few months ago I went to Home World and Alma assisted me. She was very professional and friendly, after I left I knew that she would be the one to ask for when I was ready.... read more

Vultures abound! Seriously, the moment you enter the front door, a Homeworld salesperson will greet you and then proceed to annoyingly shadow you the entire time you're in the store. My advice is to enter in through the Slumberworld side as ninja-like as possible (Remember, smoke bombs are legal to use as long another person is not within 15 feet of you [citation needed]). Compared to the store on Beretania St. Selection is basically the same but so much spacier and lighter. Same furniture has different feel at different store, interesting. I like this one better than the Beretania Store but a bit too far. YELP 365 - 38/365

Went shopping for a couch and had a pleasant experience. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I did not have overbearing vulture-like salespeople following me around. Upon entering the store my wife and I were greeted by Irene - she asked us if we needed assistance, which I politely declined because we wanted to browse. Great location and parking. Big enough to see everything neatly laid out instead of piled up. Friendly staff, especially Rino. As Adrienne L. said he is very knowledgeable of the beds, no wonder he's a one man show! He explained to me thoroughly of the types of bed and helped me decide which one I really wanted. He also made a good point, don't look at the bed for the price, yes price matters but you spend half your life sleeping so you might as well get what will work the best for you. If you have to purchase anything from Home World I would ask for Michael Lau. He was very helpful and he wasn't all over us while we were looking for a recliner. He let us do our thing but was accessible if we had any questions.

Upon walking into this store the first thing I noticed was the salespeople swarming around me like so many vultures circling a wounded animal. It's obvious that they work on commission which is not necessarily a bad thing for a customer, you can be pretty sure someone will answer a question of yours right away. Terrible service We bought an item and was told by Maruo the salesman that it would be ready by end of the month (June) but when we called to follow up as the month is almost over, we were told that the item would not be ready till August Did not even call to inform us of the delay in getting the furniture Terrible service, should not make promises to customers when you dont know what you are talking about. Go somewhere else to get furniture
