Its worth getting the app control for the pool equipment.
Constant connection problems with the iaqualink 2.0 antenna since the day it was installed. Replacing the 2.0 antenna with the 3.0 version cured all previous issues. Unable to award 5 stars due to over two years of disappointment.

Dependable, but unintuitive to setup. And lacks simple features like an alarm to tell you when your spa hits the desired temp. And the lights, you can't make your own colors, there are preset colors and if you pick 1 at the bottom of the list it will cycle thru all of the colors to get to the one you picked, but it will go directly to the last color picked if you simply cycle the power on/off! using the web portal to set the system up almost requires a degree in computer programming, it's bad!
5 stars because this is such a great way to control your pool! I asked my pool expert about all the negative reviews on this app and he said "ignore those, they're due to poor wifi connection". Maybe it's not that simple, but for me this app connects perfectly and functions as well as any of my other IoT apps (Ring, Nest, Wyze, etc.). However, as other reviewers said, there is still room for improvement. 1. No feedback to clicking a button. 2. Programming is clunky & is only done on website.

OK, looks like the app is fixed. Support sent me a side load (Ver 6.2.2) to try and it hasn't faulted once. Nice work folks.
