The bed was all springs. The room was very dry. Staff was ok. Got to check in early was only plus.

There was nothing I liked about this property. Stayed here years ago and it was fine. Has gone way downhill since then. Initially got sent to the wrong room. Had to go back to front desk to get that corrected and keys re-set. Room was run down, everything old. Did not smell clean. Mattresses worn out and sides of very old box springs sagging and dirty. It's an older property, outside doors are not automatic so you have to set luggage down to open doors. Bathtub is raised so it's a huge step to get in and out (probably a safety issue). Microwave too small for popcorn. No hotel info in rooms so you have no idea where amenities/vending/laundry are located (all in the basement). Really old tv that distorts the picture. It's a place to sleep, but I'll pay more and stay somewhere else next time I'm in Anchorage.

I didnt like anything because they were trying to charge me $250.00 because i didnt have my own credit card to put down for a deposit

Hello, I see there may have been some miscommunication at check in. We apologize for any confusion. Cash deposits are $250, but as they are deposits they are returned to the guest upon check out, unless there are charges made to the room. The deposits are not extra charges or fees. Even when a guest uses a credit card, there is still a deposit involved, which is released on checkout, again, unless anything is charged to the room. Seemed like a nice place until reaching the very dated and worn rooms. Then, when “Carla” starts yelling and banging on your door, and the next 3 doors, at 3:00AM, it left a bit of bad taste in my mouth. PS - 95% sure Carla was a hooker.
