I have been bringing my pets here for almost 20 years. They are extremely professional, empathetic when they have to be, very caring for my pets. I would not think of bringing my pets to anyone else.
I have only been to LAH for a couple of appointments because I left my vet of 30+years only 1 year ago. But I love the two Dr.'s I have seen there. Dr. Kessler and Dr. Radcliffe are so caring and patient. They seem genuinely interested in your pet and questions. Wish I would have switched a long time ago. Anyone looking for quality care and caring for should come here.
Great place to take your animal. We have been taking our dogs here for 20 years. Particularly like Dr. Kessler and Dr. Pearson. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
Have been going here for 25 years. I think the Dr.'s are wonderful. My Three Goldens and a Rottie Shepard have received their care from Dr. Radcliff. From their puppy years to the end of life, he has been like a part of our family. He genuinely cares about the humans who raise animals and the animals raised by humans. Thank you Dr Pearson for all your help with my 18yr old cat, Bizou and her ears!. Our family has been bringing our dogs and cats to this practice since 1975, 33 years, and I can't think of anywhere else to bring Bizou -- and I live in Oakland!
Always excellent care at this Vet Hospital by knowledgeable, compassionate, and resourceful vets. Staff is very friendly, efficient, concerned and accomodating. They have cared for and boarded for my and my parents' 4 dogs and 10 cats over the past 35 years. Prices are a tad on the high side, but quality, compassion and individual attention given justify this. I have tried less expensive vets and received what I payed for. Dr. Cartwright was absolutely wonderful when we had to have our 15-year-old baby euthanized last week. She was gentle, patient, understanding, and compassionate to the core. We were all misty-eyed saying goodbye to our precious girl, even Dr. Cartwright. Dr. Cartwright had seen our dog many times throughout her lifetime and each time we were impressed with her knowledge, communication skills and obvious love and concern for her furry patients. After trying other local vets when I moved to Walnut Creek 12 years ago, I was dissatisfied for various reasons. I came to Lafayette Animal Hospital about 10 years ago and have found their care and professionalism is wonderful. We usually see Dr. Kestler, and he has been really great with our 2 cats and 2 dogs.
We have been going to this clinic for about 40 years. Although the original vet retired, the excellent care for my animals remains constant. Veterinary care is expensive, but I feel assured that my dogs have always had the best care possible and we have been fortunate to have our pets live long, healthy lives.
