I really don't understand why they have so many bad reviews. They are in contact with me and my wife. They are very thoughtful and really seem like they care. This is not a vacation it's to help and I feel like they do a really good job.

I was reluctant to enroll in the outpatient program based on the reviews. I was very impressed with the group therapy and individual counseling sessions. Big shoutout to the Devin and Rhonda. Thank you both for challenging my thoughts, providing supporting documents and actually taking the time to listen, and help explain the various tactics to use to overcome my mental health challenges. I would highly recommend anyone who needs support in a safe setting, to sign up

My nephew was there. They did give him the best care possible. They were instrumental in placing him in an acceptable long term residential treaty center. Thank you Lakeview.

I had a great experience at Lakeview. I spent 6 days there and the staff was very friendly and very helpful. I felt positive about life when I left there. They taught me a lot. All the Techs there were very nice but I have to give props to Shawn. He was amazing. Full of life and had a personality that was so contagious it was impossible to feel bad around him. I appreciate everything Lakeview did for me.

This place is no better or worse than all of the other 5 behavioral health hospitals in the ATL area I have been to. They aren't medical hospitals and yes they will seem rough and unfair most of the time because they are! However, as much as I always want to leave shortly after being admitted ( usually under 1013), I always leave feeling better. ( bipolar, panic disorder, suicidal). If you need to be comfortable at all times, eat great food, use your phone, loved ones talk to the doctor, etc. ATL psych hospitals don't have t... read more

I have nothing but kind words to say about the staff at lakeview. Starting with the receptionist Jacqueline down to the therapist Ebonie and Lorna. This facility took care of me on an outpatient base for 4 weeks and I am completely transformed. The therapist here are kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so caring that you feel like family when you walk through the doors. There is structure and accountability I could not have asked for anything more. I have tools and knowledge that I did not have when I walked through those doo... read more

I was an INpatient there for 6 days, Voluntary because I was having a nervous breakdown, and man, when I mean INpatient you really are. No walks outside like at other facilities, its very confined. The staff are a mixed bag. There were some exceptional ones, particularly the Nurses, the Mental Health Aides/Assistants are varied. They are mostly approachable, but some have a hard attitude. One suggestion that has been mentioned continuously in these reviews is that the Staff should interact/talk with the patients more. My Do... read more

There are a lot of negative reviews of this place, and I understand where those people are coming from, but I have gotten more help than I ever expected from this place. That being said, I want to be sure that I give a very balanced and informative review. I was inpatient at Lakeview for 7 days, and have just started their outpatient Women's DBT program. I was released from inpatient last week. I want to split this review between both programs. Do not get me wrong, they are very different programs. Let me start with the ... read more

horrible staff. nurse called me anorexic, had an attitude, no patience, staff had an attitude when patient asked for basic necessities such as mandatory meds, and complained about doing their job. horrible food, some showers are cold, ran out of basic necessities such as pads and hairbrushes. only staff who were kind and respectful were vivian, max, and sean. please give them a raise.
