Poor quality product and service based on my experience. 3 of 5 lamps I ordered were damaged or the wrong item. After 2 calls to the store and an email to the sales rep yesterday they still have not returned my call or replied to my email. I am overwhelmed but this great customer service.......
Terrible Customer Service. Do yourself a favor and order on line. If you wish to be ignored, or like sales associates that are clueless, this is the place to go. I ordered a light from them, becuase they were out of stock. I was told week after week, it would arrive the following week. After 3 weeks of waiting - I gave up, because the store had no clue when or if it would ship. Plus, the store manager doesn't really seem to care.
Let there be light! If you have lighting needs, you should put this store on your list. As others have said, this is not a cheap store but you definitely get good value for your dollar. I enjoy the selection and the way the store is organized. Even though I've been there for something specific, I've still walked around the entire store just because I like looking at all the different kinds of lamps and fixtures. If this store has something you want IN STOCK, by all means, go ahead. If, however, you are foolish enough to order something, expect to encounter extreme delays, a total lack of timely updates, and for any semblance of customer service to vanish entirely the second you have swiped you credit card. 6 weeks of frustration later I am still waiting on the last of my items, and now on my third week in a row of "for sure it will arrive next week." La-La-Lamp land. A bit overwhelming! But they do have a great selection to fit anyones lighting needs! I'm on the hunt for some outdoor lighting to update and boost our curb-appeal. I already tried the BIG box stores, and thought I would check this place out. They did have a lot of great options, but still couldn't find the perfect piece. Just bought light fixtures there for the third time Each time the service has been great and the selection broad. We have been lucky to find great sales on the fixtures we bought and got the extra 10% off for joining their club The manager and a young girl (wish i could remember her name) has helped us each time and we have been very pleased.
Nothing super fancy, but the selection is huuuuge, and they're always having a sale. You won't get screaming-deal prices here, but the prices are really good. If you have a few questions or just don't want to wait for delivery, this is a really good option. People friendly and helpful. Has an awesome assortment of lighting, way different types and styles. Prices are pretty reasonable, great when on sale. All price ranges and some very unique pieces that have tons of style.
The dishonesty of our sales rep should be dealt with, and reflects poorly on this store. The first sign of trouble was when we found the lamp we wanted and were told that they only had the damaged floor model. We asked if another store would have it, and got brushed aside with a story about damaged tiles. We asked again and were told that Southcenter definitely didn't have it. How did he know?
