Shockingly poor service. Waited 15 minutes for help, then both people who "helped" had no idea about store products or details. Really a great ad for online shopping and Amazon. Nice selection of items, but basically self-serve -- odd for a specialty retailer.
Walked around in he store for 10 minutes not a soul asked if they could help me - was ready to throw down $ on a lamp easy sale but they were too busy chatting with each other - lame
My recent experience with Maher was exceptional. Knowledgeable, patient and professional. I could not expect any better. Thank you. Glad I had a chance to meet him and do business.
They don't seem too excited about answering specific questions or helping me find what I need. What a waste of a 30 min drive. Not spending my money here.

No service! I've been in this store and bought many things over the years from lighting to furniture. Went in to buy some pendants for my kitchen and after 30min. of waiting for someone to help me and my mom we gave up. Not a word from a single person. One sales person peeked around a corner and I tried to make eye contact before he scurried away. It was like a hobbit coming out for air. Sorry lamps plus... You lost our business.
Waited half an hour and no one asked if they could help. They were more concerned about counting change and getting ready to close in the next 30 minutes. Very poor customer service and they lost a sale!
As a general contractor I have referred Lamps Plus to my customers because of the selection and have purchased thousands of dollars in product from Lamps Plus mostly online, but my experience going into the store has always been a very poor experience. Every time I have found myself standing at the counter waiting and waiting and not being acknowledged. Horrible customer service. I should have looked at the reviews prior to going but unfortunately I didn't. Had looked online to see what kind of inventory they had and found what I wanted. There is feature to check if it's in stock at a local store. However once you fill out the necessary info they request your phone number and don't tell you of it is in stock. Instead a salesperson called and left me a message saying they wanted to talk to me about my needs for the product and lightbulbs in general--nothing about if they had... read more
