My husband and I just purchased a new home and had a lot of space to fill. So when we arrived we needed alot of help purchasing some large chandeliers for the foyer and tables, a large mirror, lamps and a few other misc items. When we got there, Sandra helped us. Wanted to support a brick and mortar business to buy a picture light. Sales associates couldn't have been more ambivalent and preferred discussing apartment rents in New York amongst themselves over helping us make an informed decision. Essentially referred us to their website. I'll be buying online, but definitely not from Lamps Plus.

Beautiful store, worse than terrible service! My wife brought a picture of a pair of antique lamps into Lamps Plus to have someone help her with choosing new shades. The gentleman she spoke with there advised her to bring the actual lamps in and he or someone there would help her select a proper shade and adjust the height of the new shades. Two bad things: 1. The shopping experience felt a decade or two behind. Paper forms. Waiting for the salesperson's computer to chug to process the order. Buying something but needing to return to the store in two weeks to pick it up -- how do they compete when they don't have stuff in stock? Not exactly convenient. 2. False advertising. Though I love the merchandise at this place, dealing with the staff is a completely different story. The amount of disorganization sometimes baffles me when I'm shopping here. it takes forever to get anything done, from checking you out to ordering a product or to even have somebody greet you. If you do order anything online you better have a lot of time set aside for you to receive your product, that is if the product was even ordered in the first place. my stars are only for the merchandise.

I saw a chandelier I wanted. It was out of stock so I had to order. Went back the next day and wanted another chandelier and lamp. Of course out of stock. I asked how can they sell anything when they have very little inventory? If you want to purchase a light today, then go somewhere else

Think more than twice using this Lynnwood location. I ordered outdoor lighting over the phone 3 weeks ago, the salesman took my credit card info and I never received anything after that. Called them today, had to call 4 times, they never once called me back and after my 4th call, they said my outdoor lights were never ordered.........Now I will do it on-line through another company. What a joke!!

I just returned some lamps I bought on clearance and they were nice enough to take the return even though their policy is to not accept returns on clearance items. That service plus their wide selection and attentive salespeople earns 5 stars.

I love this store! I have been buying my lighting needs here for years. There are two things in life that I can never get enough of, jackets and lamps. Lamps Plus is lighting heaven. They have items you just don't see anywhere else. I love that they always have great sales running.
