Wow! I just had a "Nordstrom" experience at Lamps Plus in Lynnwood. I brought in the carcass of my favorite reading lamp expecting them to take it in, keep it for a month, and then charge me half the price of the lamp but, nope! The store wasn't busy so all four employees descended upon the mission and made six trips to the back room for the right parts, put it all back in perfect shape, and then had me scoot out the door - no charge! I recently experienced what was probably the best customer service of all time. Thanks to Maher for going the extra mile. As I wasn't sure if the bar-stools I ordered were going to work, Maher offered to put one together. As time permitted his Co-worker Marshal joined in and helped put them all together. One week ago I went into this store trying to find something similar to what I found at Seattle Lighting but I couldn't get for 6-10 weeks. Justin found it in stock at a store in San Mateo! The manager helped us to get it sent here and said someone would call on Monday to confirm and that it should be there by Thursday. In my excitement I came home and took down and tossed our existing track lighting!!! Super happy that Maher was able to help us convert a hardwired light to a plugin light. We purchased the light at Lamps Plus and tried but got frustrated and had to make a trip back to the store. Maher converted it and even added a dimmer for us! Many thanks!
They've got a ton of lights - mostly chandeliers and ceiling lights - and the prices are good - as long as you buy them on sale. Amazingly (given Overstock, Wayfair, etc.), they're usually busy on weekends, and I had to wait longer than expected - or should have. Once Kareen got to is she was great though, and rather than make me wait a week for the chandelier we wanted to go on sale, she offered me the display model they'd just pulled at a great discount. I worked with MAHER SALEM ALSAMAMMA this afternoon after using the website to check stock. My call was returned in seconds and Maher was an absolute delight. With no prompting he explained defective return process price guarantee. He had all manner of relevant information about the lights. I'm a 25 year technical service manager and Maher was stellar. I must say the online/phone experience was better than any in store visit.
Maher, the staff in Lynwood shop, he is super helpful, knowledgeable and so~ pleasant. He can save your time and concerns. You ask him, he can find good solution. He is the best!!!
This Lighting Store is the best anywhere in the Pacific Northwest! I had a problem with a kitchen light fixture and they were so nice. They ordered a new fixture and the next week when it came in to the store, they sent out an Electrician to install it and make sure everything was working! Last week I bought a mirror and discovered that it was to large for my bathroom and again no problem with the return. Kareen Vincent is the the most wonderful Lighting consultant there!
