I called reference a loan on a letter they sent in the mail. When I answered I was connected with a debt relief company. Anericor is a debt relief company. I'm not struggling with debt, so why would I want get debt relief, so be careful with these scams. Liberty is deceiving.

I was trying to apply for a loan and I ended up getting contacted by Liberty First Lending. When I spoke to an agent of the comment I was told they were a consolidation company. I told them I was not looking a consolidation loan. I was looking for a different kind of loan and asked if they deal with different kinds of loans or just consolidation and they said consolidation. This is a loan I don't want and do not need.

Pulled credit report without warning or previous authorization, very unconventional and the representative did not even know who I was when I called, I had been connected to what appeared to be a centralized call center, based on conversation with the representative I was connected with and the way I was suddenly hung up on as I was talking him this shapes up to be a scam company. Would not recommend that anyone calls or tried to do business with them.

After I search online about Liberty First lending, I found this company does not tailing the truth on their invitation letter. It said pre-approved for consolidation loan. Turn out they ask all kind of info, it might hurt my rating. ******* give me a phone number and ext # when I called her they said the ext# was wrong, So i got some body on the phone, I told him cancel the whole process I am not interested in their offer.

This business is sending out "pre-approval" letters for consolidation loans that are not really pre-approved. They are also not for consolidation loans. They are trying to enroll people in a debt relief program. This is not good if you can avoid it. Nowhere in the letter does it mention this. It only says a standard consolidation loan. Very misleading. Very disappointing. They run your credit, which lowers your credit score, for something you didn't even want. This is wrong. I didn't agree to a "relief" program. I agreed to ... read more

I had the same experience, I received a mailer that offered 25K at 5.99% interest to pay off credit cards/debt. When I called, the rep took my information (including social security number) and then said he was transferring me to a loan rep. I waited for 15 minutes before a loan rep came on the line. She couldn't grasp what the letter said, she kept saying that the mailing was for a $2,500 promotion not 25K and the interest rate she quoted was 17%. When I asked her about the mailing I received she said that it wasn't her tha... read more

I recieved a mailer stating that I was preapproved for a loan, with a really good apr. (Which sparked my interest) I was curious and the mailer simply stated I just needed to scan the ** code and the rate would be revealed. So, upon scanning the code it did ask for my contact info. OK, I see that, but after submitting the form it was an instant phone call. That's when I realized it was about collecting my information. I did respond to the text they sent asking to be removed from their call list and mailer. I figure if they w... read more

I had the same situation as ********************(04/15/2024). I spoke to a male who took my information for a soft credit check. He said he would get back to me in 30 min to 1 hour. No call. I called the next day, woman said I must have talked with "****" and she would have him call me. No call. Called later that same day and a woman said "****" was on another call and she would have him call me. No call. Next day I called several times. Asked to speak to a manager and was put in touch with "*****". "*****" could not any rec... read more

I called this company on April 15th at 10:14 am EST at ************. Told the customer service rep that I received a letter, gave her the code and then she took my information to do a soft pull on my credit report. She confirmed information that she then had access to and then she said to me that she would share my information with the lenders to see what loan was best for me. She stated that her company was not a broker and someone who call me in the afternoon. I forgot her name but I called back that same afternoon and spo... read more

Business response:

Looking at our call log the only call we received from you is when you called back and spoke to *******. We never took an application from you. After further investigation your initial call was transferred to our sister company Americor because all of our reps were on other calls when your call came in and that is where your initial application was completed. That is why when you spoke to ******* he had no record of you in our system. I did listen to the recorded call and ******* was not rude. I could also hear your frustrat... read more
