First time in, new location.Elizabeth my colorist was great. Did a great job. And a head massage was pretty awesome too. Would definitely recommend especially if you're not sure what color to order online. No pressure to buy anything else

What a stellar experience from start to finish. In the interest of full disclosure, I tried to order a Madison Reed color kit to do my roots between salon visits a couple months ago, and something about the way I answered my online profile questions prompted them to say that they couldn't help me - that they didn't have a color kit to suit my needs. So I just left the Katy Madison Reed color bar. My attendant was Tasha and she was wonderful. She explained to me how Madison Reed came to be, which was actually quite interesting. Usually businesses do not start online and become brick and mortars, it is usually the other way around. At least I thought so. She explained the treatment that I was about to get on my head and what my options were. 3.5 stars. Attention Yelpers! This is NOT a salon! Please do not expect full salon services here. When i heard that Madison Reed Color bar was opening in Katy, I wanted to try it out. I thought it was a salon but I'm glad i called before I made an appointment. The kind lady told me that they just do coloring services and a blowout if asked for. I received a blowout plus toning offer through an offer for Yelp elite yesterday. Let's just say if this weren't free I would have been hella mad to pay full price for this. The concept of this place reminds me of a blow dry bar for basic color services. The salon itself is beautiful inside and is located conveniently in the middle of La Centerra in the same block as Peli Peli across from Torchy's. Had an amazing experience at Madison Reed Color Bar. I've never heard of this company before, had no idea what a color bar was but was pleasantly surprised. The ladies that did the gloss treatment and blow out on my hair was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the company. The salon looks brand new and clean. Very accommodating and friendly. Jenny did an exceptional job and provided excellent service. I love how my hair turned out! Thank you!

Quite frankly, I didn't know much about a Madison Reed prior to my visit. I had some family and coworkers mention that they sold products online, but I wasn't familiar at all with their store services. I was greeted with a hot cup of tea- very much welcomed on a cold and rainy day. Everything was very clean as the place is shiny and new! They helped me find a color to touch up my roots. If you want to go somewhere for quick color and a basic blowout, this is the place for you. My hair felt very soft and shiny after my visit. They offered water, tea, coffee, or an expresso - I had the mint tea and it was very refreshing! I was in and out in just a little over an hour. I do wish they offered a little more style options for blowouts but their expertise in color makes up for it. Worth a visit if you don't have time to sit in a salon all day but still want to be a little pampered!

The Katy Madison Reed Color Bar went way over the top to provide amazing service to my sister who was getting a roots and gloss blowout .They even offered her a complimentary conditioning treatment since they ran 10 min late getting her in .Roxana completely rocked the shampoo and massage.
