UPDATE: Yesterday 07/19/23 I called customer service to set up an appointment and found out that my membership had been CANCELLED, I was told that my membership had been cancelled by me, which it is NOT TRUE. The color is usually good but yesterday was the second time they got hair dye all over the back of my shirt. That's TWO ruined shirts!!!! I don't know why they don't wrap my shirt collar and neck in a towel before they put on the cape and get started. I'm so frustrated. I'd only worn that shirt ONE time before it was ruined. I'm reconsidering whether I want to continue using their color bar.

I went in because I had always wanted to try Madison Reed product but was nervous or pick a color online and so it myself. Was excited to try the color the colorist picked - it was a lighter shade of brown than I usually go. I have gray roots (that are infiltrating the rest) and the rest of my hair has always been naturally brown but has been getting blonder with age. This was my first visit and I will not return. There was no consultation as advertised. They offer highlights and yet I ended up with one dimensional color that I absolutely did not want! I advised the stylist several times of what I wanted and she apparently totally disregarded.

Do NOT EVER visit this business!!!! This is not a real salon, they do not even do hair cuts/trims. The stylist put a full head of highlights on my hair...She clearly had very little experience. Had an amazing experience when I first had my hair color 2 years ago but unfortunately it has changed. The salon has become a conveyer belt so you won't get the service or quality color you need. What this means the salon set a time and kick you out of the chair before the stylist can check your color. Not what I know of the name Madison Reed stand for.

Hair fell out. Awful. Would never go back. They left it in way too long and it came out in clumps. Run away.
