I like that it is wireless so that I could print from my laptop anywhere in he house. Printer met expectations Installing and connecting to the printer was done in a flash. Installing the ink cartridges was simple - hopefully they'll last as long a claimed. All of functions used worked flawlessly. The Automatic Document Feeder worked great for scanning a large, 2-sided document. The double-sided print feature worked great as did the manual sheet feed. Very good value I previously had a Canon printer that I was really pleased with, so I was worried about changing brands. However, so far I really like this wireless four-function printer; it was easy to set up, has a much smaller footprint, and is much faster than the Canon. This printer has a "Quiet" setting, but I haven't needed to use it. Photos are sharp, and fax and scan work well; with only one month of use, I haven't yet had to change the ink. Otherwise I'm quite happy with this printer Wishing I'd paid more attention the paper size this can handle -- no bigger than legal size. And it seems a little slow. Otherwise I'm quite happy with this printer.
Faster and Better Built This unit replaced an all-in-one from HP that was pure junk. That other machine took much smaller ink cartridges, and continually complained that I hadn't installed blessed OEM cartridges, when in fact I had. But I digress.... This machine setup beautifully, and with no sweat. The touch screen is a joy to use, and the scanner function is very fast and high quality. Cheap ink, NOISY OPERATION. Cheaper ink, more noise in normal operation. I just got tired of HGH PRICE INKS.
Decent printer, not sure if it saves you money on ink This is a decent printer. It is reasonably fast. The quality is acceptable. It is not top of the line, but it will get the job done for most home printing requirements. The main design defect is that the paper catcher is not long enough, and pages often fall on the floor. A good point is that the wi-fi setup is extremely quick and user friendly compared to the last printer that I bought. I gave it only 3 stars because I am still evaluating its ink costs.
