Out of yellow ink, and won't let me print black and white Printer ran out of yellow ink, even tho I never print in color especially during the period where it went to zero somehow. Now it won't let me print black & white documents because it's out of yellow. Do I own this printer, or does it own me?

Constant printing problem Most times I try to print to this via WiFi, it says the printer needs intervention. I turn the printer off and on and still get the same problem over and over and over again. I've downloaded the latest driver 3 times since I bought it but the problem remains. A major pain especially when in a hurry. It prints nice - when you can get it to print. It is the most frustrating printer I have ever owned or worked on.(I was in info system for 30+ years so have worked on hundreds of printers.)
Worst Printer Ever? This might be the worst printer ever made. Every time I want to print, I have to reconnect the printer. Even when the printer and computer are on the same wifi network, and I have printed before from the computer, the next time I try it says "Can't connect to printer." Great prints, but slow and uses too much ink The printer drivers default every print to color, and even uses the color ink cartridges when printing black and white text. On top of that, it suffers from refusal to print anything when a color ink cartridge is out, even if the print job is black and white only. Brother's website lists a few excuses as to why the printer must not be allowed to print in B&W when a color cartridge is out, but the bottom line is that the printer shouldn't use color to print black and white ... ever... read more
Constant issues Nothing but problems with this printer since I bought it. The WIFI connection is constantly going out. And for some reason it doesn't get along with my WIFI extender. OF course, every other device in the house is working just fine... The ink cartridges keep sending out error messages to reinstall them. I take them out and put them back in and voila, we're good! So incredibly annoying to have to fuss around with a printer all the time. My 2009 HP printer STILL WORKS BETTER TO THIS DAY.
AWFUL -Constantly Goes into Offline Mode -No Tech Support- Waste of Cash This was decent at first, although the print quality was not superb it was serviceable albeit a lot slower than my previous HP printers. What made this unusable was that it would go into offline mode and despite using every trick in the book to put it back online, it was always a coin toss. Multiple problems with print quality and ink cartridges I used to have a Brother MFC that worked great, but it had an oversized scanning bed and was just too large for my needs. With this printer, however, I encountered a number of problems that I'd never experienced before. SLOW printer and poor quality color printing I do not envy you, reader. You are shopping for a printer and EVERY single machine has raving reviews alongside scathingly negative reviews. What to do! I do a lot of printing for my business and print quality as well as alignment between front and back sides of the paper are fairly important factors for me.
