it works wow, so easy to set-up. we're replacing a canon, which was terrible set-up and a pain to use. this printer is effortless in comparison. havent printed photos yet, but text, charts are fine. will be curious to see how long the ink lasts.

Can't Beat Brother When It Comes To Bang For The Buck I've owned two Brother laser printers in the past and have had very good luck with them so when I needed to get a light duty all-in-one I felt comfortable going with Brother again. Needless to say they've done an excellent job again. Setup for this printer could not be more painless and if you're configuring it to be used wireless you don't need to install any software or even connect it to a computer. Very serviceable The setup of the printer was smooth and fairly flawless on my windows 7 desktop. My wife was able to use the brother print app to access it from her Iphone as promised in the documentation. I have not had a chance to verify this on my android smartphone yet. Total time from setup to actual printing was less than 30 minutes (with 5 of that spent searching for scissors to open the vacuum sealed ink cartridges). So far no complaints. We are not using the fax feature so this was not tested.
Home printing simplicity This item was so easy to set up. It prints papers fast and the wireless prints from my iPhone was a breeze as well. I have a 6 month old and set it on quite mode and my baby slept right through the printing. I can't wait to see if the life spans of the ink cartridges lives up to the other great reviews I've read. I would defiantly recommend this product if you are looking for a fast and reliable median prices printer
I really wanted to like this printer because of the high yield ink cartridges I really wanted to like this printer because of the high yield ink cartridges. It was a breeze to set-up and had all the features I wanted. For black and white text printing, this printer was excellent. However, even on the best quality, graphics looked fuzzy and faded. Great printer that works with Windows 10! This printer is great!! So far the ink consumption is minimal. We shall see how it goes! Update! It is now November 2016, so far I have not bought any more ink and my levels still show full!! Amazing as I am printing continually with this machine. It is easy to use and none of the Windows updates have messed with the wireless connection of the machine, like my older Brother did!! I am loving it so far!
About Time... This printer has huge ink cartridges, was easy to set up and has more features than any printer I've owned so far. It works great and we'll see if the ink lasts like they say it will. Just sooo tired of having to buy ink that costs almost as much as the printer...
