Junk Printer, Do Not Buy This is Junk, a lot of issues, clogging ink nozzles, especially the black ink, now it do not power at all,now seating to be thrown away. If you want to waste your money and throw this junk after a year, buy it. Look somewhere please, I have already tested for you and confirm it's not a long term printer.
The worst purchase of my life thus far This printer has caused me More headaches than seemingly possible. It loses connection within minutes requiring you to re connect on WiFi. It randomly stops working or connecting to the horrible app. Then, when it prints, which is rare, the blacks won’t work or the color or vice versa. We are extremely tech savvy so our competence is not the issue. I will take a sledgehammer to this piece of garbage as soon as possible. Do not buy this brands printers. Garbage
BUYER BEWARE: Printer only lasted 2 1/2 years with only home use!! I carefully researched printers before buying this one. I was tired of paying so much for ink for my HP printers, so I decided to go with a Brother after reading about the Inkvestment feature. Great... until it wasn't Worked fine for very limited printing over the last year or two. I NEED it today to print tax forms and it has a phantom paper jam that can't be cleared. I thought i was buying something decent to avoid stuff like this. I simply don't have time for this. I just need it to work.
The worst printer I ever had in my life! This is the worst printer I ever had. I needed to get someone to install it for the first time in my life because I had connectivity problems. I called Brother support; however they were ineffective so I had to call a computer expert from Amazon. This company had to come over, or guided me on the phone, due to several problems like connectivity, ink and now the ink pad absorber.
Unreliable, overpriced junk Had this printer for about 2 years. The scanner stopped functioning about a year in, then the print function wouldn't work without the printer being shut off and restarted multiple times. Fresh software/drivers from Brother did absolutely nothing to solve these issues. Just yesterday the print function stopped working entirely, so now I have a novelty paperweight that cost me well over 300 bucks. Low quality prints, short lifespan Bought this printer in March 2018, and within a month it had trouble printing clean pages. Since then, occasionally, it will work as expected -- clean, quick pages -- but more often then not, the printed pages have mis-colored lines and the prints will take long to print (~10 minutes for a b&w page). Bottom line: Not worth the cost.
Prints well, steals ink. You will watch as ink levels fall even when you don't print anything. Just another scam printer.
