JUST STOPPED WORKING REGRET BUYING BROTHER. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE BROTHER. THIS PRINTER IS NEW!!! NOT EVEN 2 YEAR OLD, AND IT JUST STOPPED WORKING ONE DAY. IT TURNS ON AND THEN TURNS ITSELF OFF. IT REPEATS THIS PROCESS ABOUT 5 OR 6 TIMES AND THEN IT JUST SHUTS OFF SO YOU CANNOT USE IT. WE ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THE MACHINE. IT IS NOT HIGHLY USED EVEN. Starter toner leaks Starter cartridge leaked all over my printer and drum. This was all prior to printing the 40th page. So far, support has been less than helpful.
High yield print toner only worked for 2500 pages! I like this machine a lot. I'm just put off by the DR-820 which is said to yield about 30,000 pages and I only got 2500 pages out of the one that came with the printer when I ordered it. I don't know if the seller put a smaller DR-820 or if something is wrong with the toner I got.
It is a trash I replaced it twice but doesn't work

TERRIBLE This replaced a discontinued Brother Laser Printer that worked great but eventually died. This model is TERRIBLE. Scans are ALWAYS CROOKED. Paper gets wrinkled when copying 2 sided, no matter what weight and quality of paper I use. Nothing but problems with this expensive piece of junk. Additionally, the toner is expensive as are the drum units, which need replacing far too often. DO NOT BUY
WAS a good printer I have had this printer under a year. Printing wireless... was great... then it slowed down and is basically useless. Call support- THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL- kept me on the phone walking me through stuff I have already done and the women would not listen to me. She was reading from a script and that is all she knew. Buying a different brand now after having several Brothers.
Toner snow on prints Prints consistently have many fine spots of toner all over print. Persisted after replacing toner cartridge and drum. Sad, everything else about this unit I liked, but if it won't make good quality prints, it's kind of worthless.
I hate it! I hate this printer. It jams on me EVERYDAY... I have not had luck with this printer at all. I wish I could return it!!!
