Works well if hardwired. It was constantly losing it's wireless IP when a device hooked up to it wirelessly so we had to make it hardwired and turned off the wireless. Otherwise it is working good so far. It's not as noisy as the Xerox phaser machine we had which is great!
It works great but is slow It works great but is slow. It takes what feels like forever to print but the printing and copying come put crisp and clear. If not for the speed, I'd give the 5 stars but when time matters, it can be really annoying.
although this appears to be a pretty good machine (only used a short time) Buyer beware: although this appears to be a pretty good machine (only used a short time), one would think since it duplex prints it would duplex scan (scan 2-sides), BUT it doesn't; you will need to buy an MFC-L8900CDW to get that function; I should have asked the question rather than ASSUMED; I bought it to get my printing / scanning / copying into 1 machine; somewhat of an expensive lesson learned ......

Professional quality photo prints FAST! Definitely worth the cash! This machine can produce professional quality photo prints FAST! It's also very stable even over a wireless connection. My client is very happy with the purchase and so am I!
Everything works great as advertised Used this unit to replace an older Brother MFC. Everything works great as advertised. However I did have 1 gripe with this unit. It replaced a unit where we had faxes/scans be re-routed to e-mail. However, at first glance there's no option for e-mails. It requires you to go to Brother's webpage and download appropriate firmware which enables it. Once that was done, all is well. It would be nice if this was just included by default. I had to dig through the massive manual to find it.
Easy to set up, outstanding performance! Note: We are a Mac-only household, so this review is from Mac usage only. This MFC is exceptionally easy to set up and use. Print quality is high, scanning quality and speed are great, and copy speed and quality is great as well. We generally don't fax, so I can't speak to the fax functionality. The main thing that makes setup a breeze is that the printer has an embedded web server, from which you can configure all functions. Looks Good But... Just received product and set up was a breeze , however , printing seems to take 3 minutes with the macbook, and iphone. It could be because of our wifi connection. Scanning is easy thru the app. I will update review if this improves.
