Dr. Ammar is very real. He puts you at ease with his cheerful, friendly demeanor & obvious competence.
Clean and comfortable office, fantastic staff that are friendly and helpful, and Dr. Ammar is wonderful. He explained everything clearly, was kind and compassionate, and confident in what he does without being cocky. I felt completely safe and calm in his skilled hands as he performed laser surgery on my eye. I’m so happy my optometrist referred me to him. No one likes to have problems with their retinas, but if you do this is where you want to go. He’s the best.
I was referred to the practice by my optometrist whom I trust. I had thoroughly researched my diagnosis prior to my appointment, knew that it required surgery and was nervous. The office staff was caring, considerate and efficient. Dr. Ammar was thorough and took his time going over my diagnosis with me. He answered all my questions, patiently addressing my fears with warmth and understanding. I'm still nervous about the upcoming surgery but feel more confident than before and hopeful about my prognosis.
I felt well taken care of by everyone at this office. It is a calm respectful environment, the staff are patient and unusually kind. Dr/ Ammar was equally so--friendly, warm, unhurried, patiently explained to me everything he was going to do beforehand, and also diagnosed my problem (cataract) after the exam, explained the options, and gave me a referrel to a surgeon he respects a lot and is very enthusiastic about. If i could give more stars, i would. Thank you, i wish my primary care was even remotely like this!
Excellent training (I always check this online before selecting a new doc). Clear instructions, willing to listen, polite, and thorough. Appointment never felt rushed.
At 68 years I have been through many opthomologists. With Dr crocby's recommendations I made a visit to Dr Ammar. I was almost blind when I saw him first. He treated me avoiding surgerie. Thanks to Dr Ammar I am riding my motorcycle again. I have been through painful injections. With his magic touch you can't feel an injection has been administered. After 40 years of visiting opthomologistsI highly recommend Dr Ammar for anyone who needs eyecare.

He was genuine, warm and kind, caring and patient in explaining my situation and what he would be able to do to help me, how the procedure would work, and what outcomes I could expect. I was referred by my Opthamologst for a retinal bleed. The front office staff were friendly,professional and competent. The appointment time was on time and all staff who did the tests were careful and kind. Dr Ammar was excellent in his manner, the way he explained the issue and his diagnosis and steps to take next. Dr. Michael Ammar was recommended by my Ophthalmologist, Dr. Prestera to perform a tricky ocular lens replacement. He struck me as a warm, highly intelligent, and compassionate professional.
