After 2 days of a clogged kitchen drain, I called Mike Counsil Plumbing. They scheduled a technician the same afternoon. But called back later saying there had been a delay and wanted to reschedule for the next day, which I accepted. Pablo and Bob arrived at the later part of the 2-hour window and got right to work. Pablo did a great job, checking and double checking that all was working correctly. Then cleaned up his work area nicely before he left.

Jose and Christian installed a new water heater. I was impressed with their customer service skills. They were informative, professional, and patient with my questions. These gentlemen deserved to be acknowledged by ownership and management.

Repiping a 2 story house: I don't have a problem with the quality of their work so far, but I do have a problem with how they handled proposed changes (not discussing or explaining far enough in advance, or at all, the changes possibly needed & alternatives available) to the scope of work (SOW) & not discussing financing methods available in advance v actual financing. Great technician, courteous and did the job but frankly I feel like the pricing was so off. I had a leaky shower spout and to replace the cartridge was $580 that included a 10% discount. I don't expect the cheapest but in this case I do feel a bit taken. If he would have had the cartridge in the van he would have been done within 30 minutes. Yes I could have just said no but needed it to get done. Here's a huge shout out to Luis Alvarez from Mike Council Plumbing. Luis managed a big job at my home that included installing a new water heater, water softener, piping, and the installation and plumbing of a new bathroom sink. Anytime I had a question or concern Luis responded immediately and made sure that everything was done correctly and professionally. We used Mike Counsil's plumbing to replace our entire sewer system from under the house and out to the street. Yes, I was indeed impressed with their service. They went out of their way to make sure our yard looked as good or better than when they started.

We have a kitchen fixture that has low-flow issues and a shower with lower-than-spec temperatures. Both are luxury brand fixtures that most plumbing companies either don't want to deal with or have replacement costs that are very high for house owners like me.
