I was really worried that our food would be cold because our reception site did not have a kitchen so Mintahoe had to bring in prepared food and basically warm it up and plate at the venue. My food and everyone else I asked had piping hot food that was cooked perfectly. Wished for a wedding menu plated meals would have a few more options to pick from, however.

Loved everything about it. Great service day of. Only complaint was that we tipped the bar tenders so that our guests wouldn't feel obligated to tip. Bar tenders did not turn down guest tips. Total waste of our $100 per bar tender. But besides that everything was great!

Lisa was so easy to work with! She got back to me quickly and answered all my questions! The quotes were accurate and she helped me get it to where we needed to be. Katie was our go to girl for the night of and she was fantastic! She kept a close on my wedding party and I and made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure we got done what we needed to and kept on schedule. The food was fantastic too! We got many compliments on how good it tasted, that everyone got served at the same time and everyone's was hot!

We worked with Mintahoe Catering, the official caterer for the Minneapolis Public Library, for our wedding. We did most of our coordinating and planning over email, since my husband and I live in Washington, DC. Our coordinator at Mintahoe was very good at keeping in touch and was really helpful in arranging to set up meetings during the limited times that we were able to fly in for visits. We LOVED working with Mintahoe. Our coordinator was outstanding! Elizabeth went above and beyond to make our day go smoothly and make sure everything was in place! She made this day so easy on us! Plus everyone loved the food and they accomodated our guests special diets with ease and with a smile!

I am not a fan of wedding food but know how important it is for the guests so I tried to keep an open mind, I wanted the best variety of food for the money so we went with Mintahoe and picked an appetizer-only reception with a few butler-passed options during the cocktail hour. The staff were very professional and I could hardly tell they were there. Everything beat my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great food at a very reasonable cost!

My reception was held at the Minnesota Boat Club and Mintahoe does the catering there. From the time I booked, through our wedding, we were in constant communication making sure everyone was on the same page and everything was perfect. The food was really good, we received a lot of compliments and their service was outstanding. I had my wedding the day of the 12/11/10 blizzard and all of the staff made it --amazing! I would definitely recommend Mintahoe!

The food was great- but it was very expensive! As all vendors are. We had our wedding at the minneapolis library so we did not get to choose our caterer, but they food was great. I think the price was average if we would have used anyone else. They have a big selection and many different options.
